Doors Pt.2
REVELATION 3:7-8
7 ¶ And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
This Philadelphian church age was the 6th age under Wesley, and this was the age of the open door of the great missionary movement – it was called the age of the open door because of the truth of the gospel that was being spread in that age.
REVELATION 3:20 is the Laodicean age that follows directly after the Philadelphian church age; and it is this 7th and last church age where the truth for the age is now being shut out – Christ has been shut outside the door.
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
So in this last age of the 7 church ages, Christ is shut out because the truth that came by God through the messenger for this age was rejected by the Christian churches of this age, so then it has to come down to individuals in this age who will receive the truth of this hour, because to open the door and let Christ in is to receive the true word for your age, because Christ is the truth of the true word of God - He is the way, the truth, and the life.
MATTHEW 24:32-33 (Scripture from last week – Remember that Revelation 6 is the seals in symbol form, while Mathew 24 is the seals in prophecy form)
32 ¶ Now learn a parable of the fig tree ; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Doors Pt.2
From last week we saw that when Israel became a young nation in 1948, then that was the time that the scriptures tell us that we would be at the doors. And doors speak of access to the opening of new things, and we can certainly see that many doors have been opened up in this end time age of both good and evil - doors of technology, science, engineering, space exploration, many many doors.
***The door of hell has also been opened up in this age and demon spirits are flooding into people’s lives through the eye gate of all the demonic influences of Hollywood.
***We know that Revelation 9 was the opening up of the door of the bottomless pit, but then Revelation 10 was the opening of the word. And just as hell is uniting in an invisible union with its subjects, we know that heaven is also uniting with its subject in an invisible union that is taking place between the truth of this hour and an elected people of this hour.
***So in our opening scripture we saw that the Philadelphian age was the age of the open door of the missionary work of the truth that was being spread in that age.
But then in the very next age of Laodicea we see that the door was shut and Christ is now outside of the door knocking, and the door that has been shut on Him in this age was shut by the denominational Christian churches by them rejecting the truth given by God for his age – so the door is connected to the revealed truth of this hour.
**Then in Revelation 4:1 at the end of the Church ages we see a door opened in heaven inviting John to come up higher into a realm of prophetic vision – this is the bride age of the opening of the revealed word of this hour.
REVELATION 4:1
1 ¶ After this I looked (After the 7 church ages of Revelation 2 and 3), and, behold, a door was opened in heaven (Remember that a door gives you access to hidden treasure, and a door needs a key to unlock the door, and that key was the opening of the word in this age by a prophet’s ministry to give the bride access to the truth of this hour and to open the door into a bride age): and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me (Have we heard the voice of the seventh angel in this age? The shout of the message that has gathered an end time bride together into heavenly places) which said, Come up hither (Eagle age – come up, rise up off the earth and into heavenly places in Christ Jesus), and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. (Future things – in other words a prophetic ministry is going to reveal to John great things of the future of the rapture and the future home of the bride and groom and all these great mysteries that have been hidden since the foundation of the world – this is where we are right now at this present time)
REVELATION 10:7
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
***We’ve had to wait for seven church ages until this seventh angel could begin to sound and God could give us back the key that could open the door back to immortality by giving us access to the mind of God of what Adam had fellowship with God before the fall in Eden – Death and mortality entered in when man was separated from fellowship with God, immortality is restored when fellowship with God is restored.
***We needed one in this age who could unlock the door to bring a man who had bypassed the Word back to the word again in order to restore him back to fellowship with God again.
GENESIS 18:1-3
1 ¶ And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,
3 And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:
The tent door is Christ, and Christ is the word revealed for your age – and so Abraham was sitting in the opened door of which is symbolic of the revelation of the word that had been promised to him for that hour. If he hadn’t been in that revelation for that hour he would have said “My Lords” but he had received the revelation that these three were one, so that when he saw 3 he said my Lord and not my Lords as Lot did.
GENESIS 19:1-11
1 ¶ And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom (A gate is an entrance also, a type of the denominational gates, and this is where Lot is sitting when he sees the two angels Billy Graham and Oral Roberts): and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
2 And he said, Behold now, my lords (Two lords – Lot believed in more than one lord, he believed in the two lords doctrine while Abraham saw three and said my Lord (One Lord). Abraham had a revelation that the Jehovah of the Old Testament is the Jesus of the New Testament - don’t worry, Lot was still saved), turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.
3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house (Lot knew the condition of the night life in Sodom); and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat. (notice that these angels had human bodies because they ate human food)
4 ¶ But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
(This is such an evil condition of perversion that this city had sunk into)
6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,
7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof. (It is almost hard to comprehend that Lot could offer his two daughters to be ill-treated by this lust filled gang of men)
9 And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.
10 But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.
11 And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door. (They were blinded to the door; this is the age we are living in – it is an age of total darkness and blindness where no one can seem to find the door)

E-63 Watch. To the church that was in Sodom in the world... Now, sometime this week, we're going to take the mark of the beast and the Seal of God. And watch how that started right in Eden, and come right out where Cain went out from the Presence of God to get his wife; how Seth stayed in the Presence of God and got his wife. How the churches different way, went out with their organizations to--going out with their organizations of system and got themself a--a church, a bride. And when the real true church stayed with God, perfectly...
Now, here's what taken place, when these Men went down there. And isn't it strange how He changed the name of Abraham from Abram to Abraham? And the Messenger went down there to preach to these people to bring them out, and in this last day the messenger that's sent to those Sodomites, and to call them people out of those places down there, is called G-r-a-h-a-m? Not B-i double l, y S-u-n-d-a-y, Sunday, but G-r-a-h-a-m: a messenger. Show me one ecclesiastical messenger stands in his place today. There's not nowhere on the earth to the Christian church, like Billy Graham. What's he doing? Screaming, "Come out of that thing. Separate yourself," with a word of justification, to call them out and separate them.
E-64 What did He do? His message blinded their eyes to the Door. That's what it is today. The message blinds their eyes. They got so much organization in them, they can't see the Door, and Christ is that Door. That's right.
"Oh," they say, "well, I'm Methodist."
"Well, look here Mr. Graham, I'm Presbyterian."
"I'm Lutheran."
"I'm..."
They don't see the Door. And the message has blinded their eyes. Don't you see the miracle of God? See the Lot group, way over there in Sodom.
E-65 Now, watch. To this One that stayed back behind, to the elected church: One, He said, "Now, look..." Just a few days before that, Abraham's, Abram's name had been changed to Abraham. Now, He never said, "Abram, where is thy wife S-a-r-r-a?"
He said, "Abraham, where is your wife S-a-r-a-h?" How did He know that if He was a Stranger?"
Now, watch, He's talking to the elected seed now of Abraham. Now, He's talking to Abraham, and as He did to Abraham, He's got to do to the seed after Him. We found it everything perfectly up till this time. "Abraham," the revelation, "where is your wife, Sarah?"
Said, "She's in the tent behind You." Now, remember, behind Him.
E-66 He said, "I'm going to visit you. (I, that personal pronoun involved. See?) I'm going to visit you." That's how He knowed who his name was been... He was the One changed his name, "Abraham. "I'm going to visit you according to the time of life with Sarah. And I'm going to send this child, just exactly like I said I would do. (See?) I'm going to do it."
That child was the promised son Isaac, and we have also been promised the coming of a son also – the coming of the Son of God, the Lord Jesus.

E-8 And you notice that He only shows Himself, like we left off last night at Abraham. He never went down unto Lot's group. But He appeared to the elected group: turned His back to a tent and said, "Where is thy wife, Sarah?"
He said, "In the tent." And He told what was going to happen and--and how that they were going to have this child. And Sarah laughed. And He said, "Why did Sarah laugh?" And Sarah tried to deny it.
And Jesus, when He said, "As it was in the days of--of Lot, so shall it be in the coming of the Son of man..." See? Now, that Angel never did go down to that Sodom bunch. He only stayed with the called out and elected. They had their messengers. And their eyes were blinded to the door. But the elected group saw God manifested in the flesh.
GENESIS 6:16-18
16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof (Notice – one door); with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.
17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die. (Judgement time – the judge of all the earth was on earth just like it was at Lot’s time, and just like the time we are living in now)
18 But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee.
Notice – come into the Ark, not go into the ark, the Ark was Christ, and so to get into the ark was to get into Christ, and the only way they could get in was to go in through this one door, and this is the door that the world had rejected for that day just as we see that they have rejected Christ the door of the truth of the word in this hour.
GENESIS 7:16
16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him (Noah): and the LORD shut him in. (The LORD shut the door upon Noah and his group that had gone in through this door – it is very important that we know that we have gone through this same door in this day)

E-61 Into the ark he went, and when he went into the ark, you know what? God shut the door. Oh, my. Nobody had to shut it; God shut it. That was all; the last chance to be saved was gone. So I'd imagine the kids got arm in arm around that, about a five-hundred yard ark there; and the old folks walked up and said, "Why, that old fellow will smother to death in there." See? So on making fun of him just the same, made jeering.
And you know, every person... (Now, listen. Maybe this will help you. Listen close.) When you take God's Word and follow God's Word, there's many times that after you've already done all you can do, your faith is put to a test. There's nobody here but home-folks. I'm standing on that ground right now. That's right. I don't know what to do. The revival's over. You see? I don't know where the next call is. I'm just--just standing, nervously, looking, wondering what's next.
E-62 Noah went in; he followed the will of God. And God shut the door behind him. But it never rained for seven more days. Wonder what Noah thought all that time in there? Noah setting in the ark, the door shut, he thought, "Just any time, children, you'll hear it. We'll pull the door, the lid up here on top." They was up on the top floor, you know. The animals on the bottom, the birds in the next, and they was on top. "That sun, oh, in the morning, there'll be--there'll be something over there, dark, and the rain will come." But the next morning up come the sun.
Maybe some people that kind of halfway believed Noah might've went up there and stood around the ark, and said, "You know what? That old man might have been right. We'd better stand here." Well then, they seen a mistake. God's prophets make no mistake. God's Word can't fail.
A.ABSOLUTE_ HOUSTON.TX MONDAY_ 63-0304
72 So, God gave Noah a trial, after accepting His absolute. Noah went into the ark. God shut the door behind him. No doubt they said, "Now, in the morning, there'll be black clouds. And there'll be thunder and lightning, and the rains will fall." But, you know, the next day, the sun come up just as bright as it ever did.
73 I imagine, the borderline believers said, "We'll go up. The old man could have been right about that. So, maybe science was wrong, that there--there could be some rain up there." But, remember, it had never rained.
74 But, then, the second day, the sun was just as bright as it always was; third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and even to the seventh day. But Noah had climbed up in the upper room, so he could watch the skies. And on that seventh morning, when there come a time, when people had refused God's absolute way of salvation, of saving of the lives of the people, the rains begin to fall and the sewers filled up. And the--the boat begin to rise, and it took Noah and them to safety. Sure, because they were trusting in God's Word, the absolute, God's Word of promise.
75 No matter how bad it seems like, and how dark it gets, still believe your absolute.
**I have said for many years that I believe that at the end it will look like for a while that this message has failed us just like it looked like Noah’s message had failed Noah’s group, and all the unbelievers outside of the door of the ark were scoffing and making fun of Noah and his group who were sitting in the ark in the hot sun baking with all the fumes of the animals below coming up to the top floor of the ark, and after seven hot days of this, you can imagine what it must have been like for them.
EXODUS 19:16
16 ¶ And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.
Notice – a cloud, and the voice of the trumpet. We have seen a cloud and have heard the voice as a trumpet in this hour)
REVELATION 4:1
1 ¶ After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither (into the ark through the door), and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
In Noah’s day, we know that it was around the time of when that door was being shut that that mysterious Cloud appeared in the sky just as we have seen the same mysterious cloud appearing in this day, and so we know that that appearing of the cloud in Noah’s day was a sign of judgement and death to that generation just as it is in this generation, but to Noah and his group it was a sign of redemption for them that believed in the Prophet’s message of that hour.
And so the same door that shut out the ones who disbelieved Noah’s message, was the same door that when it was opened after the flood, it opened up into a new world for the believers of that hour.
REVELATION 3:20
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door (We see how that hearing His voice is connected to the door opening), I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
***Supper time is evening time meal – its fellowship with Christ, it’s the invisible union time of the bride to Christ, it’s the bride age, it’s back to Eden time again of the fellowship that Adam lost has been restored again in this age.
**Revelation 3:20 was the rejection of Christ by the ones who had rejected the prophet’s message just as we saw in Noah’s day.
Christ was knocking with the word of truth, but they rejected the truth and shut Him out of their churches, but at the same time we find that Revelation 4:1 is an door opened to them who have heard the voice of the word of this hour and have accepted the truth of this age, and that is why we can know for sure that we have gone through this door in this hour because we know what this door is in this hour – we have the key to the door, and we are now sitting in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, safe in the ark of this hour.
