Sight in Contrast with Blindness Pt.2
MATTHEW 13:15-17
15 For this people's heart is waxed gross (wax cools slowly – you have to be on guard and watch for that slow cooling off in your life), and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed (Let us never become like this toward the great things that God has done in our day); lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. (This is speaking of a people of sight that are in contrast to a people who have become blind – one is blessed with understanding because of what they can see, while the others are in darkness because their eyes are closed to the things of God)
17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
Many prophets and righteous men have never understood the things that we have been privileged to understand in this end time generation by the opening of the seven seals.
I JOHN 1:5-7
5 ¶ This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. (If you are in Christ, then the evidence of that is that you will be in the truth for your day – the light for your day, to be in God is to be in the light)
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: (Fellowship with God can only exist while you are walking in agreement with truth)
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
III JOHN 1:4
4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
Sight in Contrast with Blindness Pt.2
Man was made by God with an inbuilt desire to accumulate knowledge and with a capacity for his knowledge and understanding to continually progress greater and greater indefinitely – we actually have the capacity to know all things just as God knows all things, but it will take eternity to realise that.
That is actually God’s eternal purpose - is to continually reveal himself to man throughout eternity, and because God is eternal, then there will be no end to that continual revealing of himself to man.
We are told to get wisdom above everything else.
PROVERBS 4:5-7
5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.
7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
***Unlike the animal kingdom, human beings put a tremendous amount of value on learning and on wisdom and understanding, and that comes from the fact that man was design by God to have a thirst for God, and God is the fountain of all wisdom and knowledge, and so this is why that man has a desire to continually advance in wisdom and knowledge, but of course Satan has perverted this wisdom and knowledge.
**So there is a natural thirst in man for understanding, but since the fall in Eden, man has tried to satisfy that God giver thirst by other things apart from the very thing that he should be seeking the truth and knowledge from, and that is the knowledge of the Lord that comes by the word of God.
**Look at all the great universities that are committed to advancing the knowledge of man concerning the mysteries of nature and the universe and science etc. – yet all the knowledge of these things have mostly led man to more death and destruction and atomic bombs and more weapons of mass murder and not to a life of peace and fellowship with one another and with God. The light of the truth of God’s word is to bring us into fellowship with God and with one another.
DANIEL 12:4
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
**Knowledge has certainly increased in these last days, but it is a knowledge that is leading man into a greater darkness and alienation away from the knowledge of God.
ROMANS 1:28
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
II TIMOTHY 3:7
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
The “Knowledge Doubling Curve”, as it’s commonly known, was created by Buckminster Fuller in 1982.
In the 1800’s, human knowledge doubled approximately every 100 years. By the end of 1945, that rate was every 25 years.
From an article on Industry Tap written by David Schilling, the host went on to say that not only is human knowledge, on average, doubling every 13 months, we are quickly on our way, with the help of the Internet, to the doubling of knowledge every 12 hours.
We are certainly living in the time of Danial’s prophecy of knowledge shall be increased.
*We learnt from last week that sight is directly associated with your understanding – you see with your understanding.
When you ask a person do they see what you are talking about, you mean do they understand what you were saying.
Seeing is to understand – and understanding is actually a spiritual thing.
***That is why when the Holy Spirit opens your understanding to a certain truth of the word of God, then that is a spiritual thing – then that word of God has become spirit and life in you, and eternal life has come into you because that word of God is now abiding in you and your spirit has come into fellowship with the spirit of God and by agreement with His word, and that can never pass away.
**To know Him is life – and to know Him is to know his thoughts.
JOHN 6:63
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Life is a spirit, and God is a spirit, and God is His thoughts.

29 … Christianity is a Person, not a creed. "To know Him is Life." Not even know His Word (he is speaking of the written word that you can learn by reading, but until the understanding of it becomes spirit in you, then it is just a knowledge of words); that isn't Life. "Know Him," and He is the Word (In other words - He is the person of the thought that his word declares – He is the spirit of the word).

… a people who claim to know God apart from the Word are as barren of life as is a sterile eunuch.
You can only know God when the understanding of his written word is made clear to you by the Holy Spirit.
That is why the message of the hour has come to us; it is to bring us into fellowship with God by a true revelation of the word of God.
***So as people that have been privileged to hear the voice of God for this last day, we have been called to be a people that come fully into the understanding of the light that God has sent in this generation, because we have been given the capacity by God to be able to walk in that truth and continue to advance into greater depths of the truth of the word that no previous generation has ever attained to before.
III JOHN 1:4 opening scriptures

**So we are living in a time when knowledge would be increased, and I believe that this is a twofold statement, because the great light of the opening of the seven seals that has shone in this hour is leading the bride into a greater light and knowledge of the Lord than we have never known before, so that even many prophets and righteous men of old have desired to see those things which we see in this day, but yet at the same time there is also another great release of knowledge by the opening of the bottomless pit that is leading the people of the world into the greatest spiritual darkness of ignorance toward God that has ever existed before – this is an age of such contrast between light and darkness, and sight and blindness.
**This Laodicean age is an age that is so dark that the people would not only be blind, but they would even be blind to the fact that they are blind – a gross blindness.
Sight in Contrast with Blindness
ISAIAH 60:2
2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
*Gross darkness produces gross blindness, but there has been a rising of the SON in our generation that has shone a great light of truth in this age so that there would be a people of God who are able to come to a climax of the knowledge of God – to know Him is life.
*From last week we saw how that the Syrians that surrounded Dothan (to capture Elisha and his servant) could see with their physical eyes, but their understanding was blinded by God. And we took note that this blindness of the enemies of Elisha took place just after the time when this Elisha ministry had opened the eyes of his servant to the unseen world. And it was this blindness that led the Syrians into complete captivity.
**So from this we know that God is able to blind a person’s understanding as well as to open their understanding.
PSALM 146:8a
8 The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind:
*We also saw from last week that while Abraham and his group were having fellowship with God, and God was revealing the secret things of truth and light to Abraham regarding the body change and the coming of the promised son Isaac – what followed that was that down in Sodom they were being blinded – so these two things of sight in contrast with blindness is going on at the same time.
*You need 3 things in order to see – you first need light, then you need opened eyes to see the light, and then you need a brain that can translate that vision into understanding.

E-14 Notice. Just before that took place there was three Messengers came from heaven. And They came first to Abraham, the church elect, and set down, and talked with him. And two of them got up and started on down to Sodom to bring the church formal out, the church denominational, a form, ritualistic church. But One stayed behind to talk to the church elect, the seed of Abraham.
And They that went down and talked to Sodom, to Lot and to his children, and to his grandchildren, and his son-in-laws, and so forth, they preached the Gospel of judgment coming. That isn't a perfect type of a modern Billy Graham, I don't know it. And did you notice, it blinded the eyes of the people. And the preaching of the Gospel, if it's not received, blinds the unbeliever.
When God sends his word to a certain people of a certain time or generation, if that word is rejected, then blindness and captivity follows that visitation because of the people rejection of the light for their time – and so when light is rejected, then you have no choice but to walk in darkness, and that is exactly the same as being blind.

E-17 Jesus had been upbraiding the people and--because that they had misunderstood His message. And they was trying to make it out something that it wasn't. He had been in their cities, and had been performing miracles, and showing His Messiahic sign to the people, as we talked of last night.
And we find that those who were ordained to Life saw it. Those who were not ordained to Life did not see it. The Gospel blinds those who are--are not willing to accept it, and it'll give sight to those who are willing to accept it. And that's the way it was in His days, when the Scripture plainly stated exactly the things that He did, and said He would do it, and how they missed it, it showed that they had to be blinded.
And to think of it, them poor Jews were blinded that our eyes might have a chance to be opened. And now, the same Gospel that blinded the Jews is blinding the church: same thing, promised exactly. And it goes a million miles over their heads. I'm glad you're recording that.
E-18 I know that's THUS SAITH THE LORD, that the--the Gospel... The same Gospel that blinded the Jews is now blinding the Gentiles, because it is the same Gospel, for there's no other Gospel but the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
*Blindness leads to captivity, and this is what has happened to this entire generation that has rejected the prophet that God has sent to this generation. The people of this day are being led into captivity by a million different ways of deceptions, and this is all because of their rejection of the light.
*Light and sight go together, just as darkness and blindness go together.
You cannot have sight without light – sight requires light.
ZECHARIAH 14:7
7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
The evening time light for this day is the revelation of the message that God has sent to his elect in this generation - outside of this revelation there is nothing but gross darkness, and if you are in darkness, then you are in the same condition as a bind person.
LUKE 6:39
39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?
To reject light is to walk in darkness, and to walk in darkness is the same being blind, and blindness leads to captivity – you may have physical eyesight, but because it is grossly dark all around you, then you cannot see anyway, and the darkness we are talking about is this spiritual ignorance of the word in relation to the day that you are living in.
***We know that the prophet of this generation was represented as the eyes part or stage of the forming of the body of the bride of Christ, and then we who have received his message are called to be the intelligence part of the body of what the eyes have relayed the information to the mind.

77 See, down through the age, we started off from the foundation, from the first church age; when the Seed went in the ground, the complete Seed. Then it come out through the feet, Luther; come back out then through Wesley; then in to Pentecostals, the tongues, in the lips, see; now it's in the eyes, prophetic, of Malachi 4, and so forth. And now there's nothing else left for it to come but Him Himself to step into that, 'cause that's the last thing there is.
The next is the intelligence, and we have no intelligence of our own; it's His. We have no sight of our own. How can a man foresee those things? He can't do it. It's God Himself. See, it's--it's becoming to a place. And He's governed the body all the way through, then the complete Body of Christ is revealed in the form of a Bride that was taken out of His side, like Adam did at the beginning... like Adam's was, rather, at the beginning.

158 So we see the evening Light's here. And what does it do to have Light, if you don't have any eyes to see how to get around in It? What is the evening Light? The Light comes on, to reveal something. Is that right? If there's something here, you feel and you can't understand what it is, in the darkness, then turn a light on. It's to reveal! What's Malachi 4 to do? See? Do the same thing. What was the opening of the Seven Seals to do, where all these denominations staggering around in this...?... Is to reveal, bring out. If you haven't got any eyes, then what's the use to reveal? There has to be eyes, first, to see. Is that right? To reveal Malachi 4, reveal Saint Luke 17:30, Saint John 14:12, also John 15:24, 16:13. And to also reveal Revelations 10:1 to 7, the opening of the Seven Seals, and the seventh angel's Message; to open up, to reveal, when the evening Light's come.
MATTHEW 6:22-23
22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. (The prophet of this generation represented the eyes part of the body (of the bride body) in order to be able to see the truth of the word that he was able to see for this age, but then that vision of the eye has to be relayed faithfully to the mind in order to become understood in the mind, and so this is last stage of the formation of the bride body that we as a people are to manifest in this hour – the very thoughts of God are coming into the mind of this end time bride thus completing the entire bride body of Christ of seven church ages. This must take place first in order for the rapture to take place because God is not going to present Himself with a bride that has no intelligence of who she is and who she is being married to. Marriage is an understanding of oneness and agreement together – it is a union of thought and word)
23 But if thine eye be evil (like a false prophet or a minister in a church that is preaching false things that are contrary to the word of God), thy whole body shall be full of darkness (the whole local church is full of darkness because of the eye of the church (the minister) is false). If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
***Fake news and lies has become such a common thing in the world today that hardly anyone knows what they can trust or believe in anymore – talk about gross darkness.
***As the bride of Christ who represent the intelligence that is connected to the prophetic ministry of the eyes of this generation – God wants to bring the very thought of His mind into us by leading us into paths that we have not known before.
ISAIAH 42:16
16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.
***God leads you in your life to bring you by the experiences of your life to the knowledge of Himself.
EXODUS 4:11
11 And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?
PSALM 146:8a
8 The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind:
***We see here that God has a direct connection with your thoughts in that he is able to unlock your understanding or to seal it up – this is especially the case when it comes to the true understanding of His word, and especially the word in the light of this day.
That is why you have to have a certain spirit dwelling within you to be able to understand the truth for your day, because the eyes and the mind must be joined together, and the eyes is the message that has come to us for this hour, but the understanding requires God to join the eyes and the intelligence together.
