The Mystery of the Serpent’s Seed Pt.3
GENESIS 3:4-5
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: (notice how that he is talking to the woman and not to the man. The serpent knew that Adam’s revelation of God was way to advanced for him to be taken in by this lie – Adam knew by a clear revelation that God never changes his mind about his word, but Eve hadn’t come to that revelation yet because she had been made a bi-product of Adam and was still growing in her revelation of God)
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
GENESIS 3:22a
22 ¶ And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil:
ISAIAH 45:6-7
6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.
7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
We see here the law of contrast – God allowed evil so that by the contrast of evil it could reveal what good was, He allowed darkness so that we could understand what light was, He allowed Adam and Eve to fall into sin in order to reveal himself as a savour to them, because they would have never known these things of God great attributes without experiencing the contrast of sin and darkness.
It takes the bad to reveal the good. You could never really understand the good without the contrast of the bad.
The Mystery of the Serpent’s Seed Pt.3
**As message believers we are all familiar with the basic facts of this subject of “the serpent’s seed” of how that the pre-fall serpent was the closest specie to man between the animal kingdom and the human kingdom – the missing link as we would say.
We know that he was an upright being that looked like a man but was bigger than a man, and yet he was so close to man genetically that his genetics had the ability to mix with human genetics to form a hybrid specie of a half man and half serpent offspring - a hybrid specie.
**And so this is what actually took place in Eden by the act of this Serpent that Satan himself had entered into this animal (beast) and had taken full possession of him and used him to deceive the woman relating to the conception of the bringing forth of children, and this was the knowledge that he taught her contrary to the word of God – Eve ate from his knowledge that was opposed to the word of God because he was that tree that had this knowledge.
***And so this serpent (by Eve’s consent) through a sexual act placed his seed into the womb of the virgin Eve, and so the nature of Satan was able come through into the offspring and thus into the human race by his spiritual hereditary, and this offspring was the seed of the serpent, and that was Cain (Cain was the serpent’s son), with Eve being his mother.
***And so this single act of a false union between the Serpent and Eve is what has caused all the troubles that we have seen come into the world since that time because of the nature of Satan coming into the human realm by being mixed with the human spirit and the human nature – and that was how that by our first birth, our nature came wrong as well as introducing a hybrid specie into the world that could never become a part of God’s eternal life realm because it had never come from His eternal thinking to begin with.
**It was this Serpent’s hybrid offspring seed that has caused all the troubles for the human race, and it came by the consent of a virgin woman agreeing with a lie.
***That is why when Christ came; as Satan had placed his seed into the womb of a virgin bride by her consent to receive the Serpent’s seed, so God had to place his seed into a the womb of a virgin bride also by her consent to receive that seed – and that virgin bride was Mary.
And the seed that God gave Mary was the seed of the woman that was promised in Genesis 3:15.
GENESIS 3:15
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed (a woman doesn’t have a seed, she has to be given a seed, and so Mary had to be given a seed by the spoken word of God and not by a sexual act); it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

***We know that all of the troubles that have come into the world and upon mankind (since the fall in the Garden of Eden) have been the result of the way man was conceived, and that conception resulted in his first birth.
***We have all been conceived by this way that was not in the original thought of God of how we should have been conceived, and so because of this conception, we have come into the world based on the teaching of the serpent that was founded on a lie.
PSALM 51:5
5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Man was born wrong – he was conceived in his mother womb by sexual desire that was based on a lie that was told against the truth of the word of God, and that lie was first believed by a virgin bride, it was her faith in the word of the serpent that produce a false birth.
***So we all come into the world base on this lie that Satan told Eve, but yet we know that God by his permissive will has allowed all this to take place because he had to put man on free moral agency to choose for himself, and knowing the decision that man would make against his word, he had already prepared a way for his permissive will to take effect, and yet in all this, God had a great purpose in that he would use this permissive will that he had allowed to work out for his perfect will.
**Jesus knew about all of this, and how that man’s first birth was wrong, and so this is why he taught that “you must be born again”, not by a woman, but by a man, the man Christ Jesus, and not by a natural seed by a sexual desire, but by the spiritual seed of the truth of the word – my words are spirit and life said Jesus – death came by a lie, but life comes by the truth of the word.
Eve conceive by a lie that produce a conception and a birth that brought death into the human race, but the new birth by the incorruptible word of God causes you to pass from death back to eternal life again.
**So this being born again is not by your body coming from the womb of a woman again (like what Nicodemus thought), but by a spiritual conception by the seed of the word for your day planted into your heart, and so the true spiritual seed of the word can only come by receiving the truth for your day.
**You were meant to come here with the revelation of the word already in you, but you by-pass that word and came with a sinful nature, but when you heard the word for your day, and you received that word, then you have heard from that eternal part of the eternal word of yourself - you have heard from your theophany, and that is the new birth that can only come by the revelation of the word that you by-passed that your sex birth omitted because it was founded on unbelief.

234 What is the new Birth then? You'd say, "Well, Brother Branham, what is the new Birth?" It is the revelation of Jesus Christ personally to you. Amen!
****The new birth is the spiritual part of the word coming into you by the revelation of the truth that you lacked when you first came here by your first birth.

1004-50 …That's the evidence of the Holy Ghost, when God reveals to you and you see it, THUS SAITH THE LORD and accept it. Not what you are, what you was, or nothing about it, it's what God has done for you now. There's the evidence.

**We have made mention in previous services of this time gap of the delay of when the word of God of what he spoke in Genesis 1 to it actually coming into manifestation in Genesis 2.
*In other words - if you had been there in Genesis one actually watching at the time that God was speaking his creation over the six days (Six thousand years period), there is very strong scriptural evidence that you would have seen very little manifestation of the creation of everything that he was speaking during those six thousand years (the six days of creation) actually appear on the earth when he was speaking it, because he was only speaking it in seed form as it was not His timing to bring it into manifestation during that time. God creates when he speaks his word, not when it comes into manifestation – the manifestation may take thousands of years.
**But we notice that when God had entered into his rest on the seventh day, then all those things that he had been speaking in seed form in Genesis 1 began to come into existence and into materialisation in Genesis 2 at the time of the seventh day while he was resting.
**Remember that everything that Boaz had promised Ruth at the midnight hour come to pass while Ruth was resting, and not while she had been working in the field – and so this is a lesson for us in the bible, because this is showing us that we must also come into a rest in the spoken word seed of God of this hour before we can see its materialisation.
**So we want to look at some quotes and scriptures to show this clearer to us, and to show us that the message of the hour teaches us these things because this is an important truth of what the message has revealed to us in this hour, and it is important for us to understand because rapturing faith lays in these things.
***Remember that when God spoke that a virgin would conceive, that was his seed word being spoken into the earth, but nothing happened for 800 years because that seed had to find a bedding ground to germinate in, so that seed laid dormant for 800 years, and so we must learn that this is God’s way of doing things, in that there is almost always a big time delay gap between God speaking his word seed into the earth (remember that God’s word is a seed – Jesus told us that), and when that word comes into manifestation, because seeds can lay dormant for a long time before they manifest their life.
GENESIS 2:1-9
1 ¶ Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. (They were finished in that he had spoken His word and now he could rest knowing that it cannot fail to come to pass in its season and time – “He hath made every thing beautiful in his time” Ecclesiastes 3:11 – there is a correct timing for everything)
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made (His work was finished when he spoke it, and not when it comes to pass – this is very important for us to understand – when God speaks something, then it is a finished work); and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. (In his mind he had already made it, it was finished – it had nothing to do with what anything looked like on the earth – and that is why he was resting in the word that he had spoken in that he knew it could never fail but to come to pass)
4 ¶ These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. (the seed was there, but it had not manifested in the earth yet)
6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (The man that God created in Genesis 1 is now coming into manifestation in a physical body in Genesis 2 hundreds of years later)
8 ¶ And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden (Not created a garden, but planted a garden, his creation was finished in Genesis 1, but these seeds had to find their right portion of dirt in order to manifest themselves, so God planted them and the power of the transformation of the word of God caused them to grow into a beautiful garden of what he had thought of in his great mind); and there he put the man whom he had formed. (not created, but formed from the dust of the ground)
9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight (the seed was already there from Genesis 1, but he just had to cause it to grow by placing it in the right earth with the right environment), and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Let’s see how Brother Branham teaches this to us in the message.
POWER.OF.TRANSFORMATION_ PRESCOTT.AZ V-17 N-1 SUNDAY_ 65-1031M
60 Now, six thousand years, God taken to make this, and we see in Genesis 1. Yet, now we see that, in this, God had a--had an objective that He wanted to bring to pass.
61 And so many people, in teaching on Genesis, back here in the 1st chapter and the 2nd chapter, and 3rd chapter, especially, "It looks like that God repeats Himself. Oh, He says, He went ahead and said all these things that He did. Oh, how He... 'Let there be light, and let there be this, and let there come forth,' and there wasn't even one thing yet." Wasn't nothing. There wasn't a light. That--that old world was still floating out there in that darkness, covered over with water. But, see, He had spoke His Word, and then that's when He was speaking.
62 Now we notice here in Genesis 1, He said, "And He formed man in His Own image, in His Own likeness, in the image of God made He (He made) him, male and female." See, He was making man, He just spoke the Word. Then we find out, after His many days had passed, maybe hundreds and hundreds of years, there was still no man to till the soil. Nobody to till the soil, so then God formed man out of the dust of the earth. See, He had spoke the Word, and then the Word had to take place.
63 Now, when He said, "Let there be light." Maybe there might have been hundreds of years, maybe eight hundred years, before there ever was a light, but it come to pass because God said so.
64 And God is going to have a Church, I don't care how many dark ages we go through, and whatever more. He is going to have a Church without spot or wrinkle, whether we are part of it or not, because He has already said it was going to happen. It's going to be there.
88 That's what God did for Adam and Eve. He created this garden of Eden. He had spoke it. It was in His mind. And when He says it, then it has to happen.
89 Bear that on mind now. What He says, it must happen! See, He can't... Nothing can--can hinder it, nothing can keep it from happening. There is nothing can keep it from happening. God said so, that settles it! God said it, it's going to happen.
90 Now He had all this in mind, and He said, "Let there be." Now, that's Genesis 1, see, "Let there be this. Let there be that. Let there be." He was sowing seed. "Let it be here. Let it be here. Let it be here." And He knew it was going to be that way, because it cannot change.
91 Now that gives us faith, then. And what He said Here, it's going to be. So let's let that Seed fall into our hearts, that we might be the bedding grounds of That, see, into our hearts. And let us act out this place that He has placed us in, in the last days. See, "Let the Seed fall in our hearts, Lord. Let Thy Word fall in my heart." Let there not be any unbelief!
92 Like Abraham, when he was an old man, looked like impossible. "How they going to do that? How is he going to be this way?" He never considered that. He just received the Word of God, and went on believing it, and God brought it to pass. Now, God had said all these things, so he knew it would be. And it did, He brought forth of its kind.
93 Now that He had transformed then, all the seed into the living creature and creation that it was supposed to be, it came up just as He said it would. He said, "Let it be." Maybe hundreds and hundreds of years passed, but here we find it a beautiful Eden, and the big birds a-flying.
GOD'S.POWER.TO.TRANSFORM_ PHOENIX.AZ V-16 N-5 SATURDAY_ 65-0911
44 Therefore, He created by His Word. He sent His Word. So all the seeds that He had placed upon the earth, He formed those seeds by His Own Word, for there was no nothing else to make the seed out of. He had placed them, and they were beneath the water. He just said, "Let there be this, and let there be that."
45 Now we find out that, many times, it look like the Bible repeating or saying something to what It doesn't, say. For instance, in Genesis 1 we find that, "God created man in His Own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them." And then He goes on, and many things happened upon the earth.
46 Then we come to find out, there was no man to till the soil. "Then God created man out of the dust of the earth." That was a different man. "And He breathed the spirit of life into him, and he became a living soul."
47 The first man was in the image of God, which is Spirit. John 4, says, "God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth." But God is a Spirit. And the first man, that He created, was spirit-man, and he was in the image and in the likeness of God. (Genesis 1)
48 And then He put this man in flesh (Genesis 2), and man fell. So then God came down and become in the image of man, that He might redeem that fallen man. That's the real Gospel story, to my--to my opinion.
49 Now, God, in six thousand years, had planted all these wonderful seeds, or He had spoke His Word. "It shall be this way. This tree shall be. This shall be." Everything was perfect. It was just good. And He commanded each one of those seeds that they would be, they would transform themselves into the plant of which kind of life that the Word of God had spoken in them should be. If it was an oak tree, it was to bring forth an oak. If it was a palm, it was to bring forth a palm.
50 Because, the great Creator had just sent forth His Word, and the Word seed was there before the real seed was ever formed. And the Word formed the seed. See, "He made the world out of things that does not appear." See, He--He made the world by His Word. God spoke everything into existence.
***So first it was God’s eternal thought that came out of eternity that was spoken into this realm as a word, and that word was itself a seed (a spoken word seed of God), and in that form it was very good, but then it may have been hundreds or even thousands of years later before you saw that seed word of God materialise into substance upon the earth – because that seed was able to transform itself into the very manifestation of the thought that had been in God’s mind from that eternal realm - from thought, to spoken word seed, to flesh.
***Let us take some examples of the creation that God spoke in Genesis 1 and the manifestation of that creation in Genesis 2
Creation of Trees – day 3
GENESIS 1:11-13
11 And God said (spoken word seed), Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. (It was already a finished work in his mind)
13 And the evening and the morning were the third day. (Notice that this was the third day)
***So let’s go over to the seventh day - three to four thousand years later.
GENESIS 2:9a – the seventh day – this is when God is resting, but then while he is resting, what he had previously spoken back in Genesis 1 in seed form begins to manifest in Genesis 2 on the seventh day.
9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food;
GENESIS 1:20 – Beast of the field and fowl about the earth – Day 5
20 ¶ And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
GENESIS 2:19 – the seventh day when God is resting
19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
GENESIS 1:26-27 Creation of man – day 6
26 ¶ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
GENESIS 2:7– now again the seventh day when God is resting
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
So the eternal thoughts of God were being spoken in Genesis 1 in seed form, but did not come into full materialisation until Genesis 2 when God was resting in what he had already spoken.
