Purpose in Your Heart
MATTHEW 24:42-46
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. (We know that his portion of scripture is dealing with the seventh seal which is the event of the second coming of the Lord – but these scriptures are no longer prophecy but they are now real events that are taking place right now in our age because we are actually living in the time of the revealing of the Son of man as foretold in these scriptures)
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant (this is the 5 fold ministry of this hour – at this time when the Son of man is being revealed), whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? (Meat = food, nourishment - a specific diet at a specific time. At this time of the second coming of the Lord there would be a special diet of spiritual food in due season given out to the bride that will be different from the denominational diet of the world)
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. (Doing what? – giving out the right food for the elect to eat in this season, the right spiritual food in due season. Remember that it was eating that caused death in the Garden of Eden, so it will also have to be eating that will take us back to life and Eden again)
DANIEL 1:8
8 ¶ But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat (notice the small k for king, this is not the King of Kings, this is a worldly temporal king), nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
Purpose in Your Heart
The Hebrews had dietary laws that God had given them. And also in many heathen nations food was connected with Idol worship, and even Peter and Paul talks about food offered to idols in the New Testament, and this is a type for us today because we are also living in a time where we are not to eat man’s creeds and doctrines of denominational foods of man’s interpretation of the word – remember that one word off took us out of Eden, so it will take every word to take us back to Eden again.
We have seen so many people’s lives ruined over the years when they receive false doctrine of the word just like if they had eaten poison food, because one is physical food for the body so that your body can be nourished while the other is food for the soul so that it can be nourished.
ISAIAH 28:7-10
7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean. (these are the denominations of today)
9 ¶ Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: (This is the word unfolding little by little to the bride in this last age to those of us who he is teaching knowledge and understanding by the message of the hour)
Sometimes we can purpose in our heads, but that level of purpose doesn’t last, it must be a purpose in out hearts.
“Purpose” = aim, an objective, a goal, an end plan, an ambition, a person's sense of resolve or determination.
Other words that describe this word “Purpose” is resolution, resolve, firmness (of purpose), steadfastness, backbone, drive, push, thrust, enthusiasm, ambition, initiative, enterprise, motivation, single-mindedness, commitment, conviction, dedication.
When you find a real purpose that you can truly believe in, then that is a very powerful thing, and if it is a Godly purpose, then God and heaven will back you up with that – you will have backup power.
Many people have very little purpose in life, and if there is no real purpose in life, then what is the real point of life – this is why sometimes people become despondent because they cannot understand their purpose on earth, and if there is no purpose then there is no point to being here.
Most people today have some sort of purpose, but the problem is that many of those purposes are not worthy purposes.
Many go through life where their only purpose is to see how much television they can watch before they die, or to see how many cans of bear they can drink, or how many rugby games they can watch on the telly, or how many parties they can attend.
For others, their whole purpose is for their sport, to achieve at sport, for others it is how many likes they can get on their face book page – for some people, if their likes go down then there is no reason for them to live anymore because that has became their whole purpose in life.
These are the purposes that people live for when they have no hope of life after death, these are people that do not know Christ, they do not know what age they live in, they are not a part of God’s elect – because in each age there is a different purpose for God’s Elect for that age. In this age our goal is rapturing faith and a resurrection and a body change.
EPHESIANS 1:9-11
9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: (In other words - He has revealed His purpose to us for this age, and that purpose is also to become our purpose)
10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Now the Word most definitely sets forth that from BEFORE the foundation of the earth the purpose of God was to share His Eternal Life with man…
…This plan was to be to the praise of the glory of His grace. It was the plan of Redemption. It was the plan of Salvation. Now listen closely. "God being a Saviour, it was necessary that He predestinate a man who would require salvation in order to give Himself reason and purpose of being.
If God needed a reason and a purpose in order to justify being, then we also need a reason and a purpose as to why we are here or there is no use for us being here on earth at this time. And so we must know clearly what we are here for and the purpose that we have been raised up for in this hour, and have that purpose clearly in our hearts as a driving force.

42 Moses, being born with this great gift of faith. Then, he was anointed and commissioned at the burning bush, to deliver God's people. Now, sees what great qualities this man had! He was born for a certain thing. God had a purpose in it.
43 God has got a purpose of you being here. See? If you can only be, get to that place, how much trouble you save God and yourself, too.
A lot of the trouble we get ourselves into is because we fail to have the right purpose.

63 And we mustn't try to impersonate anyone. Just be what you are, see, and that's the way God made you. You never fashioned yourself. And, remember, as much as we ministers would like to take Billy Graham's place, we cannot do it, neither can Billy Graham take our place. See, we, each one has something to do. The common little fellow here that may be a janitor, the little woman that may be a housewife, the greatest minister on the face of the earth today could not take your place. You, God had a purpose in making you what you are, and you just serve God in that way that He made you. See? And I think, if we would just do that, the wheels would roll a lot easier. Yes, it would, if we would do that, not get lifted up.
DANIEL 1:1-21
1 ¶ In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it. (Natural Babylon was taking over the world then just like spiritual Babylon has taken over the world now in this day – as we go along we will see a parallel to the age that we are living in now)
2 And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god. (The vessels of worship that belonged to the one true and living God was now being kept in the temples of the false gods of Babylon)
3 And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes;
4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans. (When a nation conquers another nation, not only do they take its wealth of land and silver and gold, but they also take the people of that nation that have ability and skills and brains in order to use them to bring a greater advancement for their own kingdom. And there are no better people for them to take but the young people because they are the most easiest to mould into their new life and culture)
5 And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king. (In other words, this specific diet was to nourish them in a certain way as to bring their bodies into a condition so that they will become like all the other subjects of Babylon, they would look and act just like all the other subjects – that is what the diet of this world wants to do to our young people of today – turn them all into party going texting rock music lovers)
6 Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah:
7 Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abednego. (Notice that their names were change to Babylonian names to help break their physiological connection with the roots of their family and religion and culture – and to also make them feel a part of their new culture because you don’t want people growing up feeling that they are different)
8 ¶ But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
Defile = to pollute, stain. Many of the Babylonian foods were used in idol worship, and so he purposed in his heart that he would not become a part of that culture by partaking of that food.
Babylon was a gentile heathen kingdom that had overtaken the known world at that time, and this is where Daniel and his three friends (who were God’s chosen elect for that hour) found themselves, they were surrounded by this heathen culture and environment just like we find ourselves in this evil age.
**So this is a prophecy for us in this day because we are also surrounded by Babylon because the message of the hour tells us that Babylon today is the spirit and culture of denomination – the worship of many gods.

125 Don't you remember how that Nimrod, that hypocrite, built this big tower and made all the other little cities pay tribute to it? Babble and Babel is the same thing. It just changes its names, and, as it comes on up. It's, Rome now is Babylon. And the whole world is brought to Babylon, and it's brought in by the World Council of Churches which will make every one of them bow to her. And you've took the mark of the beast, not knowing what you were doing. Because...
But those who are elected will hear the Word and come out of it.
Notice - What brings you out of Babylon is when you hear the word and believe it; the word is the portal that transports you out of Babylon and into the bride age – remember you are not a body but you are a soul, so when you believe the word for your age then you (your soul) comes out of Babylon and into the bride age.
So even though Daniel and his three friends were physically in Babylon in their bodies, they purposed in their hearts to remain true to Jerusalem – their hearts were in Jerusalem.
9 Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.
10 And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.
(This gives us a little insight to the strictness and the danger of disobedience under that regime – and notice that he was concerned that their faces would end up looking worse than the rest of the people of Babylon)
11 Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,
12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink. (Notice that this food that they chose, this pulse (vegetables) was in contrast to the dainties of the kings meat, and also it was not as appealing as far as food is concerned of what the king of Babylon was offering. The food of television and sport and pop music may to some seem more appealing than the message of the hour, but it is the vegetables of the word of this hour and it will give you a much better countenance)

90 Help, this morning, Lord, as we read the Word. May the Holy Spirit reveal It to us, that the Church might be fully established in "the Faith that was once delivered to the saints," to hold them. And may, as You gave the vision some two years ago, "to store up the Food," fine, healthy-looking vegetables that I saw in the vision, being stored here in this tabernacle, may we today receive a whole barrel full of That. Grant it, Lord. Or, a tape load, that It might reveal Jesus Christ to us in the hour that we live, to give us sustaining strength, the spiritual strength for the task that lays ahead. Grant it, Father.
DANIEL 1:13-21
13 Then let our countenances (their appearance) be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.
Notice – this change of diet produced a difference of appearance just after ten days – it produced a different look like a face lift and a body change, just like the word makes us look different to the world in this day – even your natural countenance is different and cleaner than that of the world.
14 So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.
15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.
16 Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse (of the diet of the vegetables of the tapes and the books of the word of this hour).
17 ¶ As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.(This is what we also have in this day because of the diet of this message?
In our skype meetings we are in some cases teaching theologians of the bible and yet our knowledge and depth of the word is many many times greater because of the diet that we have been feeding on of the food of this message. In Africa we were teaching men from bible schools and they were completely amazed at our wisdom in the scriptures – but that is because of our diet)
18 Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.
19 And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king.
20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.
21 And Daniel continued even unto the first year of king Cyrus.
For 70 years Daniel held onto his purpose that he had in his heart, some in the message can hardly last 10 years before they let go of the purpose of this hour.
But Daniel purposed in his heart to stand for the prophet’s message that he had received as a young man in Jerusalem, and God was with him in oneness with that purpose and back him up and gave him wisdom and kept him though all those years.
- This is showing us that we are to have a purpose in our hearts today. We must all purpose in our hearts and hold true to that purpose and to every word of God promised for this hour.
- Noah was raise up for a purpose in his hour; he had to purpose in his heart to stay true to that purpose for 120 years
- Moses was raised for a purpose
- All the prophets were raise for a purpose for their hour
- Daniel stayed true for 70 years to the purpose that he had determined in his heart
- Esther was raise for a purpose for her hour
- Jesus came into the world for a purpose to become the lamb for sinners slain and he was faithful to that purpose
- Brother Branham came into the world for a purpose and he stayed true to that purpose right to the end
And God has raised every one of us up for a very important purpose in this hour, and he has revealed that purpose to us through the message of the hour, and so we know what we have been raised up for - for this cause came each one of us into the world at this time.
Let us re-establish the purpose of God in our hearts and for our lives. May we be more dedicated and determine to hold on to every promise of God and to stay true to the message that we have received in this hour, and to keep this message pure, then God will be with us in that purpose, and he will back us up in times of trouble as he did with Daniel and his three friends.
