Questions, and Answers

ISAIAH 55:6-11

6     ¶ Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: (there are seasons in your life when God gives you opportunity to walk closer to him – and so we must never push against that)

7   Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: (Our lives are made up of our thoughts and ways, and our thoughts and ways of the decisions and choices that we make in life are what causes the events that writes the stories of our lives) and let him return unto the LORD (there maybe times where your relationship with the Lord may drift a little, and so you need to recognize opportunities to return to a closer walk), and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

8   For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. (We try to plan our lives by our own human level of fore-thinking of what we think will happen next if we do such and such – we are trying to be prophets to be able know the future. And so we are constantly trying to think and do things that will make our pathway more pleasant and prosperous and blessed in the most easiest way. But God’s thoughts and ways for the leadership of our lives are much higher than our temporal thoughts and ways that we plan for our lives – and so if we could just only put our complete trust in the Lord regardless of what it looks like, then He will bring us to an expected end of joy and love and peace.

9   For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10   For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

11   So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

God’s purpose for sending his word is to bring you to an end of prosperity, but like the rain and the water and the bud and the seed of the sower – it takes all of that complexity to be placed in the right order in your life to make the bread for the eater that will bring life and blessing. So God places things in your life in a certain order like a chemist mixing chemicals, because God wants to develop your life from negative to positive, but it takes certain chemicals and acids to do that.

PROVERBS 14:12

12     ¶ There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

We don’t need to look very far in history to see multitudes of cases of how that the best ways of what many people followed as a path of what they thought was best for their lives, and yet so often their lives ended up in failure and ruination and this is because that man is not qualified to lead himself – and yet we somehow still think that we can, but to lead yourself, you need to know what lays ahead along your pathway, otherwise you are walking blind.

PSALM 36:9

9   For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

Questions, and Answers

It’s a fascinating thing of how that human beings are always seeking answers to questions – that is something that I think makes us very different from the rest of the animal kingdom. And so there is a great purpose that God had in making us curious, and desiring to know answers to question.

Like a good “who done it” novel, you can’t help but read to the end just to find out who did it – or if John and Mary lived happily ever after.

**And so there is a greater purpose of the reason why the Lord designed us with such a powerful and all-consuming desire to know the answers to question, and the ultimate reason that he designed us that way was so that we could ultimately grow into a greater knowledge of the Himself – because to know Him is life.

*And so for our little church, whenever we have had a question asked among us, it has always worked out to be a blessing in that the Lord has allowed our questions to open up to us the scriptures in a clearer and deeper way that has drawn us into a closer walk and trust in our relationship with the Lord.

*We can be certain of one thing in life, and that is that as we go through life, there will always be questions that arise concerning things of the scriptures in connection with the experiences that life throws at us. Why did this happen of what we thought according to the scriptures it should have happened this other way, and so we often accumulate question that by and by the Lord by His grace and in His good time provides us with the answers – Questions, and Answers.

**And so if the Lord is willing we want to embark on a little journey over the next few weeks to try to minister some thoughts that I trust will help us to find answers and reasons to some of the harder questions of what we sometimes struggle with to trust the Lord when things in life seem to go very wrong according to our perception.

**And so we want to look at this question that we introduced the other Wednesday night of which is a very powerful question, and we want to look at it from different scriptural angles and dimensions, because there are dimensional levels to these things in that there are unseen realms that we don’t know about and that we can’t see that often contribute to what is taking place in our everyday world.

***When all the disasters took place in Job’s life in one single day – the best of the minds of his three intellectual friends were totally convinced by their logic and reasoning that all the tragedy that had fallen upon Job was because he must have been a secret sinner. It’s funny how that everyone seems to know what is wrong with everyone else – and so they put forward very convincing arguments for their reasoning, and much of what they said was completely true, yet they were all wrong by how they were trying to apply it to Job’s situation of which was something different that was at the cause of his dilemmas, and this is why it is often almost impossible for us to know the reason for many of the ups and down of things that happen in our lives also because there are unseen realms involved. And so this is what we want to come to understand better, and to know that God has all things in our lives under His full control regardless of how it looks.

*And so we want to call our subject today “Questions, and Answers”, and not with the thought of trying to answer every question of everything that we may have, and of the reason that things have happened to us in life, but we want to introduce a very good question that has been asked by one of our local youth, and then to try to look at it from different angles that will (by the help of the Lord) open to us a portal of understanding that will give us access to a higher level of thinking that will unlock many answers to many of our unanswered questions, not just the questions we have now, but the questions that we will continue to have along life’s long weary road.

**And so we want to follow a pathway of study titles such as: It is Also Written, and Judging Him Faithful, and then maybe finish of with some Case Studies like why did God refuse the Prophet’s request to save his baby? Why do some people get healed and others don’t? Why do some people suffer while others don’t, yet they are all the children of God? Why did God take Brother Branham’s baby Sharon Rose when he begged God for her life just to have God like slammed a brick wall in his face – that was a such a hard thing for him that almost cause him to walk away from serving the Lord.

What about the Stadsklev Baby case – what about when we pray for people and they die. Many questions.

***But there is a higher level of the thoughts and ways of God, that if our thinking can clime higher to that level, then it will unlock to us the answers to many of these questions – and the message of the hour gives us access to that higher plane – Come up higher John, because there has been a window opened to you – its eagle age, it time to fly higher into the realms of the thoughts and ways of God.

And so let us introduce this question that we have already spoken a little at our last Wednesday night service.

The question?

There are many promises in the Word of God. And the Scripture states, God is not a man that He should lie. How do we know when we can claim a promise and be assured that we will see it manifested/fulfilled in this life?

**Just to qualify this a little. God’s promises are always true, and he is bound and faithful to keep every one of His promises regardless of what side of life you are on, in fact there are many scriptural promises of God that will actually not be manifested until we reach our future life in that great land that is to come – for example:

ISAIAH 65:19-23

19   And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

20   There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

21   And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. (This is a promise that will be manifested once we are in our new bodies)

22   They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

23   They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.

*We are promised that we will have our offspring there with us in the millennium – this is a promise that should bring us comfort now in this life by something that is promised to us after we leave this world.

Gods promises last for eternity, because heavens and earth shall pass away, but the word of God will never pass away.

God will keep every one of His promises, but then He has a season for that promise to materialize – and He also has a way of approach for those promises to materialize.

The question?

There are many promises in the Word of God. And the Scripture states, God is not a man that He should lie. How do we know when we can claim a promise and be assured that we will see it manifested/fulfilled in this life?

ie. Psalms 37:4 for example we desire someone to be healed in this life, but God doesn't grant the desire. (We spoke about this on Wednesday night – because it’s just as well that He doesn’t always give us all that we desire, especially when our desires are sometimes not pure and would jeopardize our eternal destination – lets read this verse…

PSALM 37:4

4   Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. (So this scripture actually comes with a condition attached to it, in that we must first delight ourselves in the Lord, and when we do that, then our desires are align with the things of the Lord anyway)

Or Psalm 91:12, yet we still stub our toes. (There are many scriptures can be directed as future prophecies to certain specific individuals – like how the bible says that “a virgin shall conceive” but that scripture was directed to just one person (Mary), it does not mean that all virgins will conceive, we don’t all claim that as a promise for every virgin – and so we must be aware that there are different promises of God that may have their interpretation purposed for the flesh of individual people or certain groups of people)

Or Mark 11.24 yet we don't get everything we want. (No – because we ask amiss)

Mark 16.18 and Christians might still suffer food poisoning.

Somehow how do we know the difference between whether God can or God will. Daniel 3:17&18

These are very good questions, and good questions requires good and clear answers, because we want to come to know the answers as to why God has allowed certain things to happen to us in the way that they did throughout the journey of our lives – and so we have all had these kinds of questions whether consciously or unconsciously, and it is the higher thoughts and ways of God that unlock these answers to us.

Let’s read Danial 3:17-18

DANIEL 3:17-18

17   If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

18   But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

The greatest battle that we will ever fight in this life is the battle that takes place in the human mind - it’s the old age human battle that has been raging since man fell in Eden, and it’s the battle between faith and doubt in the word of God.

To put this into plain English – The battle in our mind is,” should we trust in the promises of God’s word and leadership for our lives, or should we put our trust in our own leadership by our understanding of our personal level of human reasoning?

**But if we are of Abraham’s faith seed, then we are to enter into a higher realm of reasoning – and that is the reasoning in that Abraham knew that no matter what happened, God was able to keep his promise regardless of how things looked in the natural world, and even after it looked humanly impossible and even looked like it had failed.

TAKING.SIDES.WITH.JESUS_ JEFF.IN COD FRIDAY_ 62-0601

781-178 …And Jesus just set and watched her, never moved a foot till she got done. If you're going to do something for Jesus, Jesus set and watch you do it sometime. He lets you go ahead till you get finished, then the reward comes. Maybe you run the whole race of life working for Him, but don't worry, there's a reward at the end if you just take your way with His side.

781-181   I've You might not see one person healed that you pray for, just keep on praying for them. often said, "If I pray for five hundred tonight, all five hundred dead in the morning, tomorrow night I'll be preaching divine healing and praying for the sick." See? Don't have one thing to do with it. See?

He'll let you come right down to defeats and everything else, till you come right down to the end of the road and finish your work, like He let that woman. She wanted to do Him a service, so He just held His feet out there and let--let her wash them.
