Speak to this Mountain

MARK 11:21-24

21   And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.

22   And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

23   For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. (Jesus is speaking here of a faith civilization attribute of the power of the spoken word of what Adam would have experienced in Eden before the fall of man)

24   Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

NUMBERS 20:8-11

8   Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother (Notice how that Moses rod was involved in gathering the people together, because it had been associated with the power of the miracles that Moses had demonstrated before the people, just like we have seen a prophet in this generation do the same thing by a healing ministry that has attracted and gathered an end time people in this day for a third exodus), and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink. (Symbolically, the rock is Christ, and the water is the water of life – and so we are commanded by God not to smite the rock in this hour, because that is what happened to Christ back at Calvary at the time of his purchasing work, but we are living in an end time season of where we are now to speak to the rock, because this is the time of when the power of the spoken word is to be restored back to man again – and so we have to learn a different approached in this day. Naaman (the gentile leper) wanted Elisha to smite his hands on him in order to recover his leprosy, because that was his traditional way of thinking and acting, but it was to now be by the power of the spoken word – but so many still want to smite instead of speak, because old habits die hard)

9   And Moses took the rod from before the LORD, as he commanded him.

10   And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?

11   And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.

You may still get some results when you smite the rock, but we are not called to smite in this hour, but we are call to speak to the rock.

REVELATION 12:11

11   And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and (by smiting the rock? - NO) by the word of their testimony (by the words of what they spoke); and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Speak to this Mountain

We are still trying to finish some thoughts from our subject that we have been looking at over the past 4 weeks of our pre-existence, earthly journey, and our eternal destination - and there is no doubt that these have been the three biggest questions of man since the beginning of time, of where did we come from, and why we are here, and were do we go after we leave this human stage of our lives?

* And so we have tried to look a bit deeper into the truth of these three stages of our journey, from being in the thoughts of God at the beginning, to then becoming His fully expressed sons and daughters in that great eternal kingdom that is to come.

And so we found out that this journey from our pre-existence to our earthly journey, and then on to our eternal destination has been spoken about in the book of Job, because Job had come into the world thinking that the total experience of his conscious life and state had simply begun at his birth, and so would end at his death, and if that be so, then what was the point of living a life that was full of trouble and suffering?

**And many people today have this exact same concept of this life, of what is the point of it all?

*But when you understand that there is an eternal destination of life and joy and power and glory that awaits each of us, then that knowledge is what gives us courage, and helps to bring us into a more positive outlook on life as we journey along within this classroom of the school of life.

*And so we are more able to endure the struggles of life better by knowing that we have a great future of eternal life to look forward to.

In our previous reading of REVELATION 12:11

11   And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

When faced with death, they did not love their lives more than the knowledge of the truth of what God had revealed to them, because they had received a revelation of the promise of a greater life after this life – they knew that death would only change their dwelling place and that they would continue to live after the death of their earthly bodies, and this is why they could hold their testimonies. And so this was the knowledge that changed the way they lived their lives in the present stage of their earthly life’s journey. – they knew that there would be a great future for them in that life that was to follow this life, and this is the knowledge that we possess in this hour.

**But we found out that at the beginning of Job’s great trial and suffering, even though he was a very wise man at that stage of his life, yet he did not possess this understanding of life after this life, and this was what caused so much of the way his thinking was channeled into a negative concept of life and his attitude towards the trials and sufferings of life – and this is why we find that he writes in JOB 14:1-2

1     ¶ Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.

2   He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not.

*But then right at the end of the book of Job, God then reveals to Him that he had had an existence before he had even come to earth.

JOB 38:4

4     ¶ Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.

God himself was the one who was revealing to Job the mystery of his pre-existence, because life is not something that is created, but life is passed on from something that already has life, because all life has to come from God who is the only source of life.

*And then we read also of how that Job was shown his future destination.

JOB 19:25-26

25   For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

26   And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

And so like the life and pattern of Joseph’s life, from his father’s house, to the prison house (a type of our earthly journey within the prison house of our fallen earthly bodies that are residing in a fallen world of sin and death), to Pharoah’s house of where Joseph would rule and reign forevermore while reunited with his family.

And so it is all about this great story of the redemption of the human race of the fallen sons and daughters of God - and how that redemption required a redeemer.

***And Revelation 5 is the great redeemer Himself making His claim of what he had purchased back at Calvery so that he could come back to earth in Revelation 10:1 (after His mediatorial work of interceding for the ignorance of the people for 2000 years of seven church ages was over) in order to restore back our legal right to everything of what Adam and Eve had in lost back in Eden – of eternal life - fellowship with God - and dominion over the earth.

**There have been three major areas since the fall in Eden that have greatly and negatively affected man of what he fell from of His original condition of power and authority and full dominion over the earth.

And it’s these three things combined together that has caused every evil and all the suffering of humanity for the past 6000 years. And so we want to look briefly as to what those three things are.

*Firstly, there was the fall of man from the original nature and spirit of God that had dwelt within man and that had influenced his every thought.

Because mankind was originally created with the pure nature of God dwelling within him, but after the fall, other things began to enter into the spirit of man that corrupted this pure nature of God, like jealousy, and envy, and lust, and deceit – all of these things infiltrated and corrupted this once perfect spirit of man, and so now the fallen character of man would be passed down through his genetics in varying degrees to the rest of his decedents and would continue to deteriorate as time and generations progressed.

ALL.THINGS_ SHREVEPORT.LA SATURDAY_ 62-1124E

E-20   And also my sins was something I couldn't help. I was born with Adam's nature in me, but Somebody pardoned me. They rubbed the old account away one day, and I was free from that day on. I'm so glad.

When man sinned he crossed the great chasm, or chasm, rather, between him and God. He separated himself away from God, and there was no way left for him to ever get back. He was absolutely across the chasm from God with no way at all back. God, rich in mercy, wonderful in grace, accepted a substitute for him, let him make a substitute, an animal offering to take his place.

The blood was the only thing that could pay the price. There was nothing else could pay the price. Nothing else could do then, and nothing else has done since, and nothing else will do after: blood and blood alone.

E-21   God's first decision was to pardon a man by shed blood, and God cannot make the second decision against His first decision.

**Then the next big thing was the physical body of man that would fall from a perpetual life of everlasting health and youth, to a life of corruption and sickness and death, and on top of that he would also have to cope with a chemistry change that would be unleashed within the members of his body that would cause him to act in the ways of how the animal kingdom operates when it came to reproduction.

*And so this chemistry change caused a sexual pressure to be switched on within him that has been greatly used by Satan as a tool that has been the cause of an endless amount of trouble and torment and suffering for mankind ever since. There was an old saying that said something to the effect of that – If it wasn’t for land and woman, men would have no reason to fight wars.

*If just that one thing of what we fell from the power of the spoken word for the reproduction of the sons of God that would have brought forth the human race - and because we fell from that to the lower sexual reproduction method of the animal kingdom, if only that one thing could have been prevented from mankind at the beginning, then so much of the history of the suffering of humanity would have been greatly retarded on that one account.

*Look at all the dramas over the history of man that this chemistry of sexual pressure has caused. Look at king David’s struggles and how that damaged his life and the life of his sons as well as other. Look at Sampson’s downfall. Look at the problems with all the news about the history of the former Prince Andrew – and it’s not just him, because he is just the tip of the iceberg of millions of others down through history that were not much different to him – and so this has on the most part been a curse to the human race, and the downfall of many otherwise good men.

Look at Sodom and Gomorrah and of why they were destroyed, and of what happened with the Benjamite’s in the book of Judges with the Levite's concubine that cause a civil war of where tens of thousands of men died – and all of this was because of man’s fall from the power of the spoken word, and that fall caused a chemistry change within the human body of man that resulted into a beastly characteristic being unlock within the members of his human body.

And then Satan takes that fallen condition and weakness of man, and uses it against man, and even goes further by perverting it into many other forms of unrighteous and sinful living that ultimately brings down the wrath and judgements of God.

*And this is why a prophet of God told us that while we are in these human bodies, that these things would be things that would trouble us and cause us problems throughout our entire lives, because even though the new birth has quicken our soul to life and caused us to recognised the message for our day, until our bodies are changed at the last trump, this fallen chemistry will still reside in our human sex born bodies.

ROMANS 8:23

23   And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

**Then there is the cursed of the earth itself, of the ground of which God would curse twice so that it would not produce the fullness of its life-giving resources. And this is what would be the cause of numerous famines, and want, and starvation, and land wars throughout the entire history of mankind.

GENESIS 3:17b-19

     17     ¶ … cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

     18   Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

19   In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

GENESIS 4:12 (Speaking to Cain after he had killed his brother Abel)

12   When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.

GENESIS 5:29

29   And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.

*These three things combined – the fall of man’s nature, then the fallen chemistry of his bodily nature that would produce a strong sexual drive that was contrary to the original reproductive plan of God for the way that the human race was meant to multiply, and then a cursed ground of what would cause man to have to sweat and struggle to produce his food and to have to make war against his fellow man because of the lack of resources.

*These three things of a fallen man’s condition created the foundation of what all the sad and disastrous stories of what history has been written upon - of what has been the cause of the suffering of mankind for the past 6000 years.

***But yet the secret of all of this, is that God has used all these things as a tool in his hand for the purpose of revealing the great attributes of Himself to us – it has been the tender hand of Jehovah, and this can be very hard for many to grasp.

****And this is why that these events of Job experiences open up to us a different angle that is showing us something in more detail of how that God is able to use Satan as a tool in his hand along the journey of our lives. In other words, God allows Satan to do what he does as a took in His had to unveil Himself of His true nature and character to man – because like is the school room of where we are to learn these things.

**Most people are able to grasp the concept of sowing and reaping, in that if you sin and do bad things, then there are direct consequences of which will come back to you in some form of judgement, but in Job’s case, he was a righteous man, and so why then did God allowed Satan to afflict him with great suffering – and so like Job and his three friends, this is the area of where many of us have struggled to understand about our lives, of this question of suffering – of why does God allow suffering of what seems like to be unfair and unjust.

*But then when we can truly understand that we are only passing through this place of our earthly journey, and that this life is a classroom for learning, and that our earthly bodies are the school uniforms that we wear to school every day of our lives while on earth, and that one day our schooling years will be over and we will part with our school and our school uniforms and have a change of garments go and live in another place.

**The fact of our lives is that we have been, and are still on a journey of learning and discovery.

*Our pre-existence in the mind and thoughts of God was the infancy of our pre-school years, just like a little child goes through that early stage of his life where he forgets much of those very early years (and we all went through that time of our lives as little children). But then we go on to the classroom of our earthly educational journey of the school of what some would term as the hard knocks of life (like what we might say in army terms “boot camp”).

**But then we go on from our schooling days of our earthly life’s journey from being dressed up in our school uniforms (called our earthly bodies) to having a change of garments and going on to our eternal destination of where we will rule and reign in a supernatural world of where we will continue to live and to learn throughout all of eternity.

And this is why Paul tells us that this temporal stage of our life right now on earth is but a light affliction in comparison to that eternal weight of glory that we are to enjoy in our eternal destination and home.

II CORINTHIANS 4:17

     17   For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
