The Quickening Power
JOB 19:25-27
25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
Reins = internal organs – remember how Lazarus’s body went into decay prior to his resurrection. So Job here has received a revelation of the resurrection. Notice that a confidence had come into him in that he knew he had a power within him that would quicken and raise his body up again.
ROMANS 8:11
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
**We want to know of a certainty of what the evidence is that we have the same spirit dwelling in us that raised Jesus up – because that will also bring us confidence that our mortal bodies will be change in this hour and put on immortality. The message of the hour has made these things known to us.
The Quickening Power
Continuation from last week in our study in the message “The Easter Seal”
Last week we looked at the first two verses of Mathew 28 and showed how that there were six “Mary’s” spoken of in the New Testament.
And that is important for us to know otherwise you can get confused into thinking there was only two or maybe three Mary’s, but there were six.
And when we look into the lives of these six women we see how that God placed these woman throughout the New Testament and how they were woman that served their purpose and roles in the positive events of the scriptures.
And that is no different to this day with women who serve among the believers of this hour who are also great woman that are a part of the programme of God for this time.
***So why wasn’t it two of Jesus greatest disciples that were first to receive the angels message of the news of His resurrection. Why was it woman that this resurrection was first revealed to?
Because again we know that women represents churches, and in this hour it is the message churches that Christ has first revealed himself to in this day – and that is also why different churches provide different needs to the rest of the body and believers of Christ, just like we see that these different Mary’s in the New Testament provided different services throughout the ministry of Christ for that time. Some were financial, some were in service, it takes all of the six Mary’s to reveal the seventh Mary.
So we see the pattern being shown to us of this resurrection that is promised for this day.
**So of course there is a seventh Mary, and that is represented by the bride of this hour. She has had a visitation from and Angel. She is a witness of the resurrection. She is commissioned to tell. She gives of her financial means. She give her efforts if her service to Christ. She also provides buildings of gathering for the elect. All of the six Mary’s in the New Testament reveal the seventh Mary – the bride of this hour.
MATTHEW 28:1-2
1 ¶ In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
What a mighty revelation that these women were witnessing.
So we notice that the first thing that happens as a part of the Resurrection of Christ is that these women meet with an angel, and then immediately after that they meet the resurrected Jesus himself, and then they were required to tell his disciples that he has risen.
Three things – first the angel descends with a message, then the resurrected Christ himself appears to them personally, and then they are to convey this information on to other believers.
*That is why back in the early days, some message churches received the revelation of the resurrection of this hour before others did. Sure there was a lot of confusion going around, but that is also what happened at the first resurrection also. Believers wouldn’t believe the testimony of other believers.
Look at Thomas; he refused to believe the testimony of the other 10 disciples of whom he should have had trust in.
**And so these first 10 verses of Mathew 28 are showing us the exact pattern associated with the resurrection of the word in this day, because we have also met an angel in this age who broke the seals and rolled back the stone that sealed Christ to this generation – the seventh angel. And then we have also met Christ himself by the revealing of the son of man, and we are also told to prophecy again and to tell his disciples of this age that he has risen in this age also.

60 Look at the millions on earth that didn't receive It when Jesus was here. (Remember that the evidence is connected with receiving the word for your day – that is what he is talking about) But how thankful that we should be this morning, to know that we have the direct evidence and the Bible proofs, that we are included in that great resurrection morning coming, that great Easter. (He is speaking of the great Easter of this day of the resurrection of seven church ages of sleeping saints. This great Easter has already begun, it has started within a people that are on the earth now by the revelation of the word that they have received in this hour – What is it? It is Christ making himself known again to believers of this age seeking out his own sheep that will hear His voice) We have the earnest of it, right now in our mortal bodies. The predestinated ones are the first, of course, to be quickened, when the Holy Spirit comes to claim Its own.
How does he claim his own? By revealing himself personally to his elect in this age, just as we saw him do after his resurrection in Mathew 28.
JOHN 16:15-16
15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. (Reveal the secret things of the word to you – that is what he has done in this hour)
16 ¶ A little while, and ye shall not see me (His physical body): and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father. (They were going to see him in another form, the form of the Holy Spirit leading them into all truth)
JOHN 14:18-20
18 ¶ I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me (He is talking about another way of seeing – a seeing by an understanding): because I live, ye shall live also.
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
He couldn’t be in them in the form of Jesus of Nazareth, but he could be in them in the form of the revelation of the word which is what he has always been from the beginning – “in the beginning was the word, and the word was God” Not “in the beginning was the body of Jesus, and the body of Jesus was God”. **He was the word first, and a word is really just a thought expressed, and so the thought of God became the word of God and the word of God became flesh and dwelt among us in the form of Jesus of Nazareth, but that same Jesus is not in the form of Jesus of Nazareth today.
If he will show himself to you in this hour, then it will be by the revelation of the word of this hour, and then that same thought that was in God’s mind from the beginning is now coming into you by the message of this hour that you have received because of predestination.

122 …if we are ordained to be on that ground; like the eagle walking in the chicken's nest. If you're ordained on that ground, the Holy Spirit is here to find you. And when It finds you, you recognize Its call. You know the hour you're living. You know that these things are supposed to happen. Quickly you're raptured up to meet It (Notice what he is talking about - you are raptured up to meet the word for your day), and now you're setting in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Oh, what a promise! What a Heavenly Father, Who would give us these things!

E-9 And I said to friends across the world; I said, "Now, when you go to look for me, I will be listening to the angelic choir. There's great voices, the Sankeys, and different ones who will be singing in that time on the other side. I sure love good singing. But one of the greatest things that I've ever had for enjoyment is meditation in the Word of God.
That is where fellowship with God takes place – it is in the realm of your thoughts, your thoughts in perfect agreement with the thoughts of God. But we know that today that people get pleasure out of thinking evil things like it was in the days of Noah.
JOB 1:6-7
6 ¶ Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
In Eden, God would come down in the cool of the day and walk with man and have fellowship with man upon the earth, but here we see that Satan is among the sons of God, trying to walk with them upon the earth because he wants to take the place of God, he wants to have fellowship with man and project his thoughts into man and shape man’s thinking to become submissive to his will and desires so that he can rule in man’s heart and control his thoughts and be the god of man and be worshiped by man – and that is what it has come to in this age.
**But here was a man named Job that Satan could not walk upon the earth and fellowship with this man with his thoughts, nor could he project his thoughts into Job to do evil against the Lord. And then it is at this season that Job comes to a revelation of the quickening power within Him because he says.
JOB 19:25-27

REVELATION 1:17-18 (Brother Branham reads this scripture in the message “The Easter Seal” 1965)
17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
A key is a revelation.
The key that opened the bottomless pit in Revelation 9 was a scientific revelation that unlocked the 4th dimension through science.
Peter had the keys to the kingdom – it was a revelation of the word.
**So this key of hell and death is a revelation that would be given to a people in the last days because there is promised that there would be a people on earth in the last days that would not see death.
ROMANS 8:11
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
This quickening power is the key that unlocks immortality to a people in this age.
This word “quicken” = to cause to live that which was dead, to make alive, to give life; of seeds quickened into life, i.e. germinating, springing up, growing.
So to quicken a seed is to germitize it to life by sun and water. So this speaks of a process that takes place to cause something to live – to be quickened.
***So the spirit that will quicken your mortal body in this hour begins by the process of God shining the light of the word of this hour onto the seed of what he placed within you by predestination, and that is the only way that you will ever be able to recognize the word for your day, and that is why you do recognize the word for this day. The evidence that you are his sheep is to be able to recognise his voice, the message for your day.

224 I play that little piece that them ladies sang a while ago. I've had it for about eighteen, twenty years now. I Want To Talk It Over, Lord. And get out there and go to praying, then that quickening power comes. I'm rest up. I looked up There. I say, "Looky yonder."
225 I remember that morning, being caught a past. And my wife, sitting back there, laying on the same bed with me that morning. I was raised up, and looked up. And there she is, asleep. I said, "If I'm going to do anything for the Lord, you better hurry up, boy. You're past fifty." Then the Holy Spirit caught me away, and I looked over There. I seen those saints, just as certain I'm standing here by this desk, with this sacred Book laying here, and a minister of the Gospel.
226 Have I ever told you anything in the Name of the Lord but what happened? Yeah. I want you tell me about it. Every time, has it been perfectly, at the platform? Every time, has it happened just like He said? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] This was THUS SAITH THE LORD.
227 I stood there, looked over that time. I seen tens of thousands times thousands coming, young men and women, run, throwing their arms around me, screaming. I look right back and see myself laying on the bed. "O Lord, let me look a past the curtain of time."
228 What is it? It's quickening power that will catch us away. That great quickening power. The quickening power come in this last days.
229 That's what I'm in Arizona for, right now. There's many people sitting right here, stood right here at Phoenix, and heard me tell you from this very platform, "THUS SAITH THE LORD." How many remembers it? "Now go. Something is fixing to happen."
230 I saw seven Angels come. Didn't Life magazine pack it, as the fog of It floated across here, twenty-seven miles high, and thirty miles across? Is not Fred Sothmann, these other, Gene Norman, them, setting back there? Stood right there when them seven Angels appeared right there on the hill. It shook the hills, for miles around, like that. There stood seven Angels. And throwed a sword in your hand, said, "Go home and open these Seven Seals that are given." And here they are, the true mystery of marriage and divorce, and the serpent's seed, and all of these things that's been fussed about. It's THUS SAITH THE LORD.
231 What is it? The quickening power coming to the Church, making Her ready, this hour that we're approaching. Quickening power!
O God, help us to receive It. Help us to believe It.
232 See, just depends on what attitude you take to It, whether It's going to do you any good, or not, though. See? You have to believe That. You don't believe It, It won't do you one bit of good.
233 How old Samuel stood there before that people, and said, "Have I ever told you anything in the Name of the Lord but what happened? Did I ever beg you for your money, to live on?"
"No, but we want the king, anyhow."
234 That's the way the church is today. They want their own ideas. They won't pay a bit attention to you. They walk right around. Well, it just goes to show, the quickening power is not there.
235 "Oh," you say, "I spoke in tongues. I jumped and I shouted." That's all fine.
236 But if that quickening power is there, you'll recognize. Like that little eagle; that's his mama. That's the Word. That's THUS SAITH THE LORD. That's what God promised. That's what was foretold. That's exactly what happened. We're beyond any shadow of doubt, potentially in the resurrection right now, the saints getting ready to be taken up in the air.
***This end time resurrection has already begun in you and I by a seal being broken and the spirit of the word of this hour by an angel’s message taking residence in a people that we find are the other half of the Chinese laundry ticket.
***This was the spirit that was in Christ that quickened his mortal body and raised him from the dead to be alive forever more – and this is the same spirit that is in the bride of this hour.

47 …The Lord Jesus is in another world, or another dimension, right here today in form of Spirit. His Spirit is blending in with our spirit. Our eyes can't see Him, because that they're physical yet, unless there would something happen that we could see vision. But He is here just as visible, just as real as He was the day that He spoke to Mary at the grave, or He met Cleopas on his road to Emmaus. His Presence is here. It can be feeled with that, felt with that inner charge that's on the inside of the human body, called the new birth. The soul has been magnetized unto Him.
