The Great Tribulation Period of Jacob’s Trouble
JEREMIAH 30:4-7
4 And these are the words that the LORD spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah.
5 For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.
6 Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?
7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.
This is referring to the 144,000 elected Jews who will be living at the time of the great tribulation period of the last 3.5 years of God dealing with Israel as a nation. These are the ones who will recognize that their Mesiah was in fact Jesus Christ all along, just like in parallel of how Joseph revealed himself to his brothers after dismissing his gentile wife to the palace. But these 144,000 will all be killed just like the ones who died under Hitler and Eichman in WW2, but they will also be saved in that they will receive eternal life and come back in the Millenium for a thousand years of peace.
MATTHEW 24:21
21 For then shall be great tribulation (Tribulation = trouble and affliction and distress), such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. (There has always be troubles and tribulations in the world, but not at this level of mass and global magnitude)
MATTHEW 24:31-35
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (Again, this is the elected 144,000 jews that have been gather back to Israel from all over the world)
32 ¶ Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves (1948, Israel became a nation), ye know that summer is nigh: (Summer is when things grow and come to full expression)
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Everything is governed by the word of God – every thought, word, and action, and atom. Nothing can stop the word of God from coming to pass.
The Great Tribulation Period of Jacob’s Trouble
Mathew chapters 24 and 25 (among other things) are dealing with 4 main groups of people.
*The gentile elected bride that will be raptured.
The 144,000 elected Jews that will recognize their true messiah as being Christ. Then the foolish virgins who miss going with Christ into the marriage.
And then also those that do good to the bride.
These are the 4 main categories of people who will be saved as shown to us by the opening of the seven seals of which Mathew 24 is the opening of the seven seals in word form.
*But then on top of that, Mathew 24 and 25 also shows us the different categories of people within the foolish virgin groups of people of whom are “virgins” to the word of God, but miss the rapture because some are not perfected under the 5 fold ministry of Ephesians 4 that God has sent into this last age for the perfecting of the saints, or because they let their oil run out, and some others because of the fact that they were not diligent with the value of the portion of the message that was given to them.
Last week our subject was – The different Categories of People within the message Ranks” – and so this is a continuation of that subject.
MATTHEW 24:48-49 (the smiting group) 1
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants (these people are not against the head servant of this last age, but they are wounding the influence of the 5 fold ministry in the eyes of the people not realizing that it is this 5 fold ministry that is the continuation of the work of God in order to bring this last days gentile bride to full maturity of rapturing faith), and to eat and drink with the drunken;
MATTHEW 25:10-12 (the foolish virgin group) 2
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
MATTHEW 25:24-26 (the slothful group) 3
24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
26a His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant,
***And so we are looking at this subject of “The Great Tribulation Period of Jacob’s Trouble”
*The name “Jacob” means "deceiver" or "supplanter,"
And so right from Jacob’s birth of when he grasped the heel of his twin brother Esau - it was the beginning of a struggle and a trait in Jacob that would continue throughout his life in various forms of trickery and deceit.
*The first noted one was what he did to his brother Esau by getting him to sell his birth right in exchange for a single bowl of stew.
*Then he goes on to deceived his own father Isaac by putting goats’ hair on his arms and neck in order to trick him and steal the blessing from his brother Esau.
*Then he tricks Laban (his father-in-law) out of his flocks of animals. And so this has been a trait of the Jewish people since that time.

426-6 {246} Now, watch. Now, he was ousted from his people. Now, it's a type of the Jew now. He's a money snatcher. I don't care how he gets it; he will get it. He will skin you alive to get it. You know that. He's a little shyster; that's all. Boy, don't deal with him. He--he will get you, boy. Yes, sir. Why? He's got to be that.
But then after all of that deceit, Jacob ends up wrestling with God under a tribulation period because of having to face his brother Esau of whom he thought would kill him, and that was when his name was changed from Jacob to Israel which means “a prince with God”, and not just his name was changed, but also his nature – he limped from that time on, and so his “walk” was different.

*Last week we began to look at these different categories of groups within the message circles of Mathew chapters 24 and 25 of which there will be those who will be changed and taken off the earth in the rapturing of the gentile church, and then there are these other categories of message people that will go through the great tribulation period in order to be purged under the 6th seal of what we have just read the scriptures concerning these different groups – and remember that all of these groups, (the smiting group, the foolish virgin group, and the slothful group) they are all a saved people of which will receive white robes at the great white throne judgement. They will be given eternal bodies of which to live in for all of eternity.
REVELATION 15:1-3
1 ¶ And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. (This includes the 144,000 Jews and the foolish virgins groups that are purged during the tribulation period.
*Remember, that the sea of glass in heaven is symbolized on earth in the wilderness tabernacle in the form of the brazen alter, because Moses was commanded by God to build the tabernacle on earth after the pattern of what he saw in heaven, and so this is the altar in heaven of where we find the souls that the 5th seal speaks of as being the “souls under the altar” of those who had died under Hitler and Eichman go to wait, and this is also the same place of where the foolish virgins go also after they are purged – and so both the Jews and the foolish virgins are placed in heaven under this alter (sea of glass), after that they have died on earth – remember that death only changes your dwelling place)
3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God (Jews), and the song of the Lamb (Gentiles – the foolish virgins groups of Mathew CH:24 and 25), saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
**And so we find that the scriptures here in Mathew CH 24 and 25 deals with the categories of these different groups that are in connection with the 6th and 7th seal, because the 6th and 7th seal reveals these three main groups of the bride of Christ who recognize their bridegroom by the opening of the seventh seal, and the foolish virgin and the 144,000 jews who are purged under the 6th seal and end up on the sea of glass (souls under the altar). And then there is also this forth group of those that do good to the least of His brethren.
And so we want to look a little closer at these scriptural categories of what the bible is showing us of these 3 different groups of people that are associated with the message because of the fact that they are “virgins” to the word of God, but that will go into the tribulation period.
MATTHEW 25:10-13 (the foolish virgin group)
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
*Then there is the story of the ones who received the different number of talents, and the proportional rewards for those that advanced what had been giving to them to work with by the Lord – and their reward was to rule over cities, and rulership is bride level language.
*But then it also shows the other category of the ones who don’t do anything to advance the revelation of this hour in their lives because they failed to fully realize the value of what had been given to them and the responsibility that it incurs – these also end up in the tribulation period.
MATTHEW 25:28-30
28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. (This is what is going on right now. Some people are losing the very little of the truth of the message of which they once had)
30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
*And then there is this story about this servant that after the coming of the Lord was delayed, then after a while he begins to beat on his fellow servants of the 5 fold ministry that comes after the faithful servant of Revelation 10:7. And so this group also goes into the tribulation period according to the scriptures.
MATTHEW 24:48-51
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Remember that these are genuine people, they are not hypocrites, but they are appointed a portion of time in the tribulation period in order for them to be purged for their wrongdoing like Jacob was.
They are a saved people that show up on this sea of glass as shown in Revelation 15:2.
Notice - They missed the seventh seal of the coming of the Lord of which the 5-fold ministry would have taken them into that perfect understanding of the revealed word for this age, but because they rejected the 5-fold ministry that would have brought them into a rapturing faith, they end up missing the rapture and go into the tribulation period to be purged.

555-2 {225} Now, all... When He called them over there, the hundred and forty-four thousand, they were missing. That's right. They're not even numbered in there. And Joseph and Levi is put in the place of Dan and Ephraim. Now, you can look at there; right there it is before you. See? And here's God's promise way back there hundreds and hundreds of years before that.
Now, what happened? They were purged during the time of the awful tribulation period. Now, if God's going to purge that's--that virgin that was a good woman, but she just failed to get oil in her lamp, and He's going to purge her through persecution in there, He puts them tribes right in there for the same thing, and purges them during the time of the tribulation period, because it is a purging; it's judgment. But, you see, they, after...
555-4 {227} And look here. Here comes up the hundred and forty-four thousand after the purging of Israel, and here comes up also... The sleeping virgin comes up purged and has white robes on. See? How perfect, how beautiful that is.
Just like Jacob in the time of trouble... See? They... Jacob in the time of trouble, he had done wrong, but he went through the purging time because he had wronged his brother, Esau. See? He deceived to get his birthright. But he went through a purging before he could have his name changed from Jacob to Israel, which was a type of the order of God's type today.

575-2 {388} Now, she's not the Bride, but it's the church, the pure people that--that--that didn't have the opportunity, maybe, to receive the message, or in some way that they were blinded by these false prophets, and they--they didn't get a chance, and yet they're really sincere in heart, and God knows their heart, and here they're purged during this time.
You notice that another purging time; that's for Israel when she gathers. That's the second fold. God purges Israel in the tribulation period. Out of the millions that'll gather there, there'll be a selected one hundred and forty-four thousand, and they will be purged also. God's purging Israel.
575-4 {390} Notice, there is a whole earth is to be purged. There will be such a thing that the moon, stars, and all nature will be purged. You see what it is? The earth is renewing herself, being purged, getting ready for the millennium. The millennium's coming up. And see, everything that's got any filth in it is to be purged during the Sixth Seal.
Now, now, do you notice on the opening of this Seventh Seal, it's also in a threefold mystery.
**And so from 1965, we have seen these prophecies of Jesus coming to past by seeing the people of the message becoming separated into these different groups of which they are becoming mature in their beliefs, and this is what Mathew 24 and 25 is showing us about these categories of people who are associated around the events of the second coming of the Lord.
**And so this explains to us of what we have been seeing over all these years, in that we are seeing the fulfilment of these events that were spoken of by Jesus in Mathew chapter 24 and 25 concerning those who are associated around the end time message of this hour.
