Removing the Scare Pt.2
RUTH 2:12
12 The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.
This word “wings” is the Hebrew word “kanaph” {kaw-nawf'}.
And it is a word that can be fairly broadly used in its meaning and is often translated as “skirt”, as in cover me with your garment. It mostly refers to the extremities of the garment – the outer edges.
We know that the woman with the blood issue knew that if she could only touch the extremities of Jesus garment of the tassels of the ribbons of blue that hung from the outer edges of the garment, then she would be made whole.
This word “wings” also signifies protection as would a hen protecting her chicks under her wings – it’s a covering of protection, like the wings of the cherubims that cover and protect the mercy seat. It also refers to an eagles wings.
And this is why that when Adam and Eve doubted the word of God, then the covering of protection of their supernatural garments that had covered their nakedness left them and they realised that they were naked – in other words, the wings of the covering of God had left them.
And so Ruth here - by her faith becoming established in the word of the LORD God of Israel, she had come under the protective wings of Jehovah.
*And so we want to see here a direct connection between the wings and the revelation of the word.
The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.
RUTH 3:8-18
8 And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was afraid (Boaz is the son of Salmon and Rahab (the harlot), and at midnight, and at harvest time, he is startled awake), and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet.
9 And he said, Who art thou? And she answered (notice how she answers), I am Ruth thine handmaid (At the beginning of this chapter, Ruth is an unbetrothed woman – but by the end of this chapter, her statist changes from that of a single woman to effectively a married woman simply by the act of the words of promise that she receives through the voice of Boaz): spread therefore thy skirt over thine handmaid; for thou art a near kinsman. (This word “skirt” is again the word wings (“kanaph” {kaw-nawf'} in the Hebrew), “Spread thy wings over thine handmaid” and cover me.
And this act was clearly understood to be associated as a request for marriage – in other words, Ruth was asking Boaz to cover her with His protection by marrying her.
*We spent a few services on the teaching of the blue ribbon and of how that is connected to the revelation of the word for the age, because your religion is connected to your covering as in your clothing Isaiah 61:10 says ..he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
Our gentile (seven church ages) way of saying it would be - “Cover me with the revelation of yourself for the age that I am living in”. And so Ruth is letting Boaz know that his request for marriage would be accepted by her)
10 And he said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my daughter: for thou hast shewed more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, inasmuch as thou followedst not young men, whether poor or rich. (Boaz completely understood this language)
11 And now, my daughter, fear not; (notice what he does first – he tells her not to fear) I will do to thee all that thou requirest (Look at how he is removing her fear - he is promising to fully redeem back all that Elimelech had lost, and to also marry her, and to also raise up Elimelech’s seed which is in effect the resurrection of Elimelech’s fallen family race - just as Christ has promised to raise up Adam’s fallen human race): for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman. (A virtuous woman is one that stays true to the revelation of the word – it is not about sinless perfection)
12 And now it is true that I am thy near kinsman: howbeit there is a kinsman nearer than I.
13 Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning, that if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman's part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, as the LORD liveth: lie down until the morning. (Redemption didn’t just require a wealthy kinsman, but it also required for that kinsman to be willing to have his own inheritance marred)
14 ¶ And she lay at his feet until the morning: and she rose up before one could know another. And he said, Let it not be known that a woman came into the floor.
15 Also he said, Bring the vail that thou hast upon thee, and hold it. And when she held it, he measured six measures of barley, and laid it on her: and she went into the city. (Look at Boaz’s immediate expression of care and provision for her and also for her mother in law)
16 And when she came to her mother in law, she said, Who art thou, my daughter? (Many commentaries will simply translate this as a question of “who art thou?” as to “how did it go?”.
But there is actually a much deeper question that is being asked here by Naomi. When she asked “who art thou?”, the real question that she was asking was, "Art thou Boaz's betrothed?” – “are you still just unbetrothed Ruth, or are you now Mrs Ruth Boaz that abides under his great wings of protection?”) And she told her all that the man had done to her.
(The after effects of these events that had transpired at harvest time and at the midnight hour of the threshing floor, was that Ruth was now effectively a married woman who was now under the full care and protection of Boaz simply by the exchange and the promise of his word.
*And if we could only realise how powerful the word is of the message that we have received in this midnight hour and of its promises to us, then it would change the way we would think about ourselves forever, because it is the same thing of what we read here in the book of Ruth – and it is to bring the same peace and a rest into our lives just like it did for Ruth. And so this is the revelation of what the message of the hour was sent by God to do for us in this day)
17 And she said, These six measures of barley gave he me; for he said to me, Go not empty unto thy mother in law. (Her mother in law was also included in the blessing)
18 Then said she, Sit still, my daughter, until thou know how the matter will fall: for the man will not be in rest, until he have finished the thing this day.
Boaz had come out of rest while Ruth was entering into rest.
And this is why that it is so important that we must enter into a full rest in the promises of God concerning us for this hour – because when we enter into rest, then our Boaz (Christ) can come out of His rest and complete his redemptive work.
**The result of this secret meeting at the midnight hour between Ruth and Boaz was that the revelation of redemption that he revealed to her, it removed all the scare out of Ruth’s heart and life.
Removing the Scare Pt.2
Last week we spoke about how that every single person is born with scriptural prophecy attached to their lives.
*Hitler was born with a scriptural prophecy attached to his life, because it was prophesied in the bible that six million Jews would be killed in a holocaust in WW2 – that’s Revelation 9:15.
REVELATION 9:15
15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men (6 million Jews were slain during the holocaust – a third of the entire Jewish world population at the time).
*Mary was born with the scripture of Isaiah 7:14 attached to her life as well as multitudes of others.
*And so because of this, we know that God has to work supernaturally in a person’s life in order to bring the prophecy of the word that is attached to their lives to pass in their lives.
And we saw this very strongly in our generation when God sent a gentile prophet that would fulfil the prophecy of many many “one-man” scriptures all through the bible.
*And so under every scripture, there are people’s names of whom they were specifically born into the world so that their lives would become the fulfilment, or at least a part of the fulfilment of certain prophecies that had been written in the bible in mystery form.
*And this is why that we can be sure that we are also born in this hour with prophecy of scripture attached to our personal lives.
***And so this is why that we need to look at our lives to see what part of scripture that the pattern of our lives is acting out, because these will be the scriptures that our names will be written under.
*And so by God knowing who is who, He will work supernaturally in the lives of people in order to bring the prophecy that pertains to their life to pass.
And this is why that everything in your life is working together for the good just as we saw with all the events that happened in Joseph’s life.
*Mary’s entire life on earth was to fulfil the prophecy of Isaiah 7:14 – a virgin shall conceive.
*John the Baptist’s life on earth was to fulfil the voice of him that crieth in the wilderness – Isaiah 40:3.
*Brother Branham’s life on earth was to fulfil Malachi 4:5-6, Luke 17:30, Revelation 10:7 as well as many other scriptures of prophecy that pertained to his life.
And it was the evidence of the Holy Ghost in the life of Bro. Branham that caused him to see that he was the servant at suppertime of Luke 14:17.
And that he was Eleazar at the evening time well with Rebekah.
And that he was the head reaper in the book of Ruth that introduced Boaz to Ruth and Ruth to Boaz.
And that he was a type of Mordecai in the book of Esther.
And that he was the Elijah that the gentile widow woman of Zarephath sustained.
And that he was like Moses that led a people on an Exodus out of denomination and into the promised land of the word of this hour.
And that he was Revelation 3:14 “the angel of the church of the Laodiceans” of whom John was transported into a future day and saw him, and had even bowed down to worship him of which he replied, “don’t worship me, I am of thy fellow servants the prophets.”
*He was the one who showed John all throughout the book of Revelation – Revelation 1:1 “and he sent it and made it known by his angel unto his servant John”
*He revealed to John the great harlot.
*He revealed to John the Lamb’s Wife.
*He revealed to John the new city.
And so he was the one that preached about “The Great Harlot” and “The Choosing of a Bride” and “The Future Home of the Heavenly Bridegroom and the Earthly Bride”. And we have heard all these things preached in our generation by the same one of whom showed John – and so that also places us under very powerful scriptures of prophecy because we are actually John, and so our names were written under his name.
*And so Brother Branham is seeing himself (his name) written under all these scriptures and prophecies of the bible from Genesis and all the way to Revelation of where his name and ministry was written and prophesied of in the bible.
**And so God had to be very carefully to guide his life in a way that would fulfil all of these scriptures, because not one word of all these prophecies concerning his life could fail.
***And one of the great achievements of his life’s commission (like Eliezer), was to get a bride and present her to the Lamb. Because Isaac was the lamb who was slain on the mountain in type when he laid down his life in obedience to the will of the father.
*We remember that it was God who created the ram in the thicket in Genesis 22, because Abraham called the place Jehovah-Jireh, because the lamb was created by God. And so the ram and Isaac became two parts of the same type.
**Because Isaac is the resurrection going down the mountain, and the lamb that was sacrificed was a male ram that was not born by a sex birth but was created by the spoken word of God, because Jesus was created by the spoken word or God, and Jesus was the lamb of God that died.
*And that is why that in this story it takes these two parts of both the ram and Isaac to show the full type of the one person of Christ.
*But then this story continues, because the same one (Isaac) who walked down from the mountain in Genesis 22, is the same one that came back and married his bride at evening time of whom Eliezer introduced to him in Genesis 24.
**This is showing us that the same Jesus who died on Calvary’s hill is the same one who has appeared again at this evening time at the end of the seventh age to receive his bride - of when the evening messenger presents that bride to Him.
And so her identification will be no different to Ruth’s, in that she will receive the symbolic covering of the skirts of His garment of the revelation of His word being unveiled to her.
**And so the message of the hour opens up all these scriptures in such a way in order to reveal to us truth in this hour that light has never shone on before.
*And so the “light” of these truths has come to us by the voices of the Seven Thunders that were uttered in Revelation 10 of which were the mysteries contained in the seven seals.
324-1 LAODICEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.9
….And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not."
What was in those thunders no one knows. But we need to know. And it will take a prophet to get the revelation because God has no other way of bringing out His Scriptural revelations except by a prophet. The Word always came by a prophet and always will.
327-1 LAODICEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.9
Now this messenger of Malachi 4 and Revelation 10:7 is going to do two things. One: According to Malachi 4 he will turn the hearts of the children to the fathers. Two: He will reveal the mysteries of the seven thunders in Revelation 10 which are the revelations contained in the seven seals. It will be these Divinely revealed 'mystery-truths' that literally turn the hearts of the children to the Pentecostal fathers. Exactly so.
And so the Seven Seals revealed the words that had been sealed up in the book.
*Daniel was told by God to seal it up. John was told by God not to write it - but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, these mysteries would be made known to an end time elected group of people, and those revealed mystery truths would seal those people into a specific bride category – and so this is why that God is working in our lives in this hour to bring this prophecy fully to pass in our lives, because our names are also written under many scriptures – “Behold I send YOU Elijah the Prophet”- Malachi 4:5.
***And this is the realization of what will give us the confidence to know who we are in this day - and it is this knowledge that God has sent to us in order to take all the scare out of us in the same way that Boaz took all the scare out of Ruth when it was revealed to her that the time of her redemption was at hand and that she had effectively become Mrs. Boaz.
*Boaz took the scare out of Ruth at the time of the midnight hour.
*Elijah took the scare out of the gentile widow woman of Zarephath at the time of her midnight hour of when she was facing uncertainty.
*King Ahasuerus took the scare out of Esther at the time of her midnight hour. *Joseph took the scare out of his brothers at the time of their midnight hour.
*And Christ is taking the scare out of us at this midnight hour by revealing to us our position as the Lamb’s wife and our imminent redemption that has come to us by the message of this hour.
