The Gold of that Land is Good
REVELATION 3:17-19 - is telling us of the last age of Laodicea, the age that we are living in now.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich (notice that the first thing that they are boasting of is financial power), and increased with goods (when you have financial power, you can buy lots of goods), and have need of nothing (you get so many goods that you don’t need anymore because you become full – there is nothing wrong with goods, God wants us to prosper and for us to be blessed, but what is our character and our attitude to the word like, that is the important thing); and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich (look at what real riches are – a Christ like character); and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. (That is to apply the revelation of the word to your spiritual understanding)
19 As many as I love (Notice – not as many as love me, but as many as I love), I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
GENESIS 2:10-12a
10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
12a And the gold of that land is good: (This is the first time that Gold is mentioned in the bible)
The Gold of that Land is Good
Everything that God created naturally in the earth in its original form speaks of something greater in the spirit world.
We know that everything that God created in the earth at the beginning was good.
GENESIS 1:4
4 And God saw the light, that it was good:
GENESIS 1:10
10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
GENESIS 1:12
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
GENESIS 1:21
21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
GENESIS 1:25
25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
GENESIS 1:31
31 ¶ And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.
Man was good, his character was good, the lion’s character was good, he didn’t try to kill you and eat you, the monkeys character was good, he didn’t try to get into your car and steal all your food.
GENESIS 2:10-12 Opening scripture
10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
12 And the gold of that land is good:
Notice – that this river that flowed out of the Garden of Eden was associated with a land of good gold.
We know that natural gold speaks of the deity and the character of God. Gold is a precious thing, and the gold of a Christ like character is also a very precious thing. ***So the natural things of creation are given to help us understanding a higher level of creation.
THE.ARK_ JEFF.IN V-26 N-18 SUNDAY_ 55-0522
134 …Anyone who knows the Scripture, knows that gold speaks of Deity, and wood speaks of humanity. See He said, "You shall cover it, overlay it with gold, over the wood." That's Deity over the wood: Christ over the Church, inside and out, Deity, overlaid.
Gold is universally accepted as the chief of the metals; it speaks of deity in the bible. It doesn’t tarnish, it doesn’t rust, it has stood the test of time, and down through history it has always been greatly sort after for its great value and worth – and it is often referred to as God’s money.
So Gold has a power attached to it – financial power.
There are many powers in the earth -
There is the power of God.
Then we know that there is also Demon Power
There is Religious and Ecclesiastical power
There is Political power, the power of human governments – Satan has control of all the politics of the world
- Civil power
- Military power
And then there is Financial power - and financial power is connected to the concept of Gold.
GENESIS 13:1-2
1 ¶ And Abram went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south.
2 And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.
Gold is a storage of wealth – but Gold in nature is only revealing to us something that is of a greater value.
Opening scripture:
REVELATION 3:17-19
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich (Natural Gold), and increased with goods, and have need of nothing (notice that their wealth is only in the natural realm); and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire (God is not talking about that we are to buy up all the natural gold of the earth, but that we are to pay the price for the Gold of a Character that can humble itself to the will of God – Many people cannot humble themselves to the truth of the word, they do not have the character to humble themselves to the word for this age), that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
**See what? See the day that you are living in. This is a spiritual seeing of the revelation of the word for this hour. But before God will open the understanding of his word to you, you must first humble yourself away from your own thoughts to the thoughts of God.
***We want to see how that financial power is what is being used to control the masses that live upon the earth – the gold of that land of that river that flowed out of Eden was good, but the financial system of Satan’s Eden in this age of Laodicea is not good, and so it is also paralleling the character of this age to the character that man fell from in Eden.
II TIMOTHY 3:1-7 is describing the character of the people of this age.
1 ¶ This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
The truth of what – the truth of what God has sent to this age through His messenger and prophet to the gentiles.
REVELATION 4:1
1 ¶ After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
Revelation 4:1 is also Ezekiel 1:1
EZEKIEL 1:1
1 ¶ Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
So Ezekiel is a captive in Babylon by this Babylonian river called Chebar (it is a perversion of the Garden of Eden, it is a type of Satan’s Eden of this age), and he sees heaven open, and then in Revelation 4:1 John is a captive on the isle of Patmos and he sees heaven open, and in this age, heaven is open to us while we are also in exile and in captivity in this Babylon of Satan’s Eden in a land where there is much gold (financial wealth), because Babylon was very rich and increased with goods – so all these events are parallel and speak of the same thing.
Ezekiel CH:2 and CH:3 is Revelation 10:8-11
REVELATION 10:8-11
8 ¶ And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
EZEKIEL 2:1-10
1 ¶ And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.
2 And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.
4 For they are impudent children and stiffhearted (this is a Laodicean spirit that is upon these people, the same as what is on the people in this age – these scriptures are paralleling the age that we are living in today). I do send thee unto them (God is sending them a prophet just as he has done in our age); and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.
5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.
6 ¶ And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. (Don’t fold under the pressure of how evil this age has become)
7 And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious. (Rebellion against God is the result of a fallen nature, and a fallen nature is what produces a bad character – bad gold)
8 But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.
9 And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;
10 And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
EZEKIEL 3:1-4
1 ¶ Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.
2 So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.
4 And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them. This exactly parallels Revelation 10:8-11 of the ministry of the bride of this hour.
**So if we read on in Ezekiel we find that what follows the eating of the scroll is an economic squeeze showing us that after the bride has eaten the seventh sealed scrolled of the message of this hour, we know then that the monetary system is going to come under pressure and cause an economic squeeze.
EZEKIEL 6:11-12
11 ¶ Thus saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword (that is military power), by the famine (that is an economic siege – food sanctions against other nations etc. – using food as a weapon. How do you get a dog to do what you want? You use food as a tool to bring that dog under your control and make it obedient), and by the pestilence (that is diseases – Aids and Ebola and all these other things).
12 He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remaineth and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.
*This is the hour of the vengeance of our God.
*This is showing what is to follow a people that have eaten to book in this hour.
*This is showing us what the Laodicean age will come to after they have heard the final voice that is in the bride.
***The final voice to this world is the bride proclaiming the same revelation as the messenger to this generation in a mature form.
340-1 LAODICEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.9
In the Dark Ages the Word was almost entirely lost to the people. But God sent Luther with the WORD. The Lutherans spoke for God at that time. But they organized, and again the pure Word was lost for organization tends toward dogma and creeds, and not simple Word. They could no longer speak for God. Then God sent Wesley, and he was the voice with the Word in his day. The people who took his revelation from God became the living epistles read and known of all men for their generation. When the Methodists failed, God raised up others and so it has gone on through the years until in this last day there is again another people in the land, who under their messenger will be the final voice to the final age.
**There are many weapons of mass destruction in this age.
*Famine is used as a weapon of mass destruction.
*Deception is used as a weapon of mass destruction in the natural and in the spiritual realm.
When Eve was deceived by the serpent, it caused the mass destruction of the entire human race into the future for 6000 years.
These weapons of mass deception such as fake news, fake religion, fake people, internet scams, all these things are destroying people lives on every level.
Then there are weapons of mass “distraction” like the phone and the internet and net flicks and YouTube and face book and twitter and yahoo and moo moo.
It’s not call the inter-net for nothing, it is a net that is designed to trap its prey just like the 20th century fox has deceived and caught up the whole world in its teeth.
***We know by the message that we are now living in Satan’s Eden, and the character of this Satan’s Eden is not good gold.
***The Gold of this Satan’s Eden is not good, but the Gold of the original Eden is good.
Gold rush fever has often affected people’s character in a negative way – people would at times even murder other people in order to steal their gold in order to gain financial power.
THIRST_ TUCSON.AZ V-16 N-6 SUNDAY_ 65-0919
215 Years ago, when they used to have gold out here in the mountains. I read a story, many years ago, it's always stuck with me. It said there was a--a prospector went out here somewhere beyond the mountains here, and was prospecting for gold, and he struck a rich claim. And he come back, thinking; when he got to the city, what he would be, his troubles was all over. And--and he--he tried to--to say, "Tomorrow I'll get in and I'll..." Just one day's journey, he would be into the city, and he would have the gold. And he had big sacks full of it.
216 He had a dog with him. Not comparing now the dog to the Holy Spirit, but as I'm making an illustration. But this dog...
217 Through the night, the prospector laid upon his bed, and--and he begin to think, "Now, tomorrow I'll--I'll take all my gold in, and I'll become just what I've always wanted to be. I--I--I always wanted to be a rich man. I--I wanted to own fine things, and so forth."
218 And--and then this dog begin to bark, and because there was an enemy approaching. And he--he went out there, and he said, "Shut up!" And so the dog quieted down. And no more than got back in bed, he started like he was going to go to sleep, and the dog started again, just jumping at the chain. And he went to the door again, said, "Shut up! I want you to know that tomorrow I'm a rich man, see," and that was his great dreams. But the dog started barking again.
219 And finally, he got so discouraged, he went and got his shotgun and shot the dog, and killed it. He said, "I won't have no more use for you, anyhow. Tomorrow I'm a rich man. I will become a rich man, tomorrow."
220 And he sit the gun down in the corner, turned his back over to the door, went to sleep. And the man had been following him, for days, slipped in and killed him. He wasn't a rich man, see, he stopped that warning buzzer that was trying to tell him his life was at stake.
You can also apply this principle with many things that promise riches in this life – there can be a negative psychological change of character that can affect people that have the prospect of natural financial power. But we know that any form of Power without the character to handle it can be very dangerous.
350-1 LAODICEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.9
"Buy of Me, gold tried in the fire, that you may be rich."
Now these people had plenty of gold, but it was the wrong kind. It was that gold that bought men's lives and destroyed them. It was the gold that warped and twisted human character, for its love was the root of all evil.
351-3 LAODICEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.9
"You had better come before it is too late," saith the Lord, "and buy of Me gold tried in the fire and then you will be truly rich." Are we getting it? Listen to me, "Naked (physically) we came into the world, but naked (spiritually) we will NOT leave it." Oh no, we are going to take something with us. What that something is, is ALL we can take with us, nothing less and nothing more. So we had better be real careful now to see that we take something that will make us right before God. So, then, what will we take with us? We will take our CHARACTER, brother, that is what we will take with us. Now what kind of character will you take with you? Will it be like HIS Whose character was molded by suffering in the fiery furnace of affliction, or will it be the softness of this character-less Laodicean people? It is up to each one of us, for in that day every man will bear his own burden.
Now, I said that the city of Laodicea was a wealthy city. It minted gold coins with inscriptions on both sides. Gold coins characterized the age--a flourishing commerce existed because of it. Today, the two-headed gold coin is with us. We buy ourselves out and we buy ourselves in. In the church, we attempt to accomplish the same. We buy ourselves out of sin and buy ourselves into heaven--or so we say. But God does not say that.
The church owns such phenomenal wealth, that at any given time she can take over the entire world system of commerce, and indeed a leader in the World Council of Churches has openly prophesied that the church in the foreseeable future should, could, and will do just that. But their golden tower of Babel shall fall. Only the gold tried in the fire shall endure.
The character that man fell from in Eden is to come back into a people in this age, a character that can agree with every word of God.
- The character of the people of this age of Satan’s Eden is not good, but the Gold of that Land is good.
**The fullness of the word is the land that God has given back to us in this hour – the Gold of this Land is good.
***The character of Christ that is found in this land where this river of life flows is good, it is to be deity again in human flesh.
