The Secret of Esther’s Power
ESTHER 2:8-17
8 So it came to pass, when the king's commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was brought also unto the king's house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women. (Hegai is one of the eunuchs of the court of Ahasuerus – that’s why ministry in this hour is not to have seed of their own. Man’s doctrine against the revealed message of this hour is man’s seed)
9 And the maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave her her things for purification, with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, which were meet to be given her, out of the king's house: and he preferred her and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women.
10 Esther had not shewed her people nor her kindred: for Mordecai had charged her that she should not shew it.
11 And Mordecai walked every day before the court of the women's house, to know how Esther did, and what should become of her.
12 Now when every maid's turn was come to go in to king Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of the women, (for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit, six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odours, and with other things for the purifying of the women;)
13 Then thus came every maiden unto the king; whatsoever she desired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women unto the king's house.
14 In the evening she went (Notice – evening time), and on the morrow she returned into the second house of the women, to the custody of Shaashgaz, the king's chamberlain, which kept the concubines: she came in unto the king no more, except the king delighted in her, and that she were called by name.
15 Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king's chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her.
16 So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign. (Revelation 10:7 – that is the time this end time bride is taken into the royal house also, at the time of the sounding of the seventh angel’s message)
17 And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.
The Secret of Esther’s Power
Last week we called this study of the book of Esther “For Such a Time as This”.
And we were trying to show how that God had brought Esther through all the trials and troubles of her young life for the purpose of moulding her character under Mordecai’s ministry. And all that upbringing under Mordecai’s ministry was preparing her for the time when God would bring her into a certain position of power in order for her to bring about a resurrection for her people.
**And so we see how Esther came into this position of power by a marriage covenant with the king, and of course this is showing us how we are to also come into this same position of power and authority in this hour – for such a time as this.
*So we want to continue this study in the book of Esther because there are some deep lessons that God has sealed up in this book for this end time hour.
***This book of Esther has been a sealed book up until the time of the opening of the seven seals. Many great men down through history have often wondered why this book was even put in the bible – even today this book is frowned upon because that say that God is not even mentioned once throughout the entire book.
Martin Luther once said that he…
"The book of Esther I toss into the Elbe (The main river that runs through Germany). I am such an enemy to the book of Esther that I wish it did not exist, for it Judaizes too much and has in it a great deal of heathenish naughtiness."
So Martin Luther (The angle to the Sardis Church age), according to his own admission threw the book of Esther into the river. But in this hour, the seals have been taken off of this book and it has become a new book to us who are of this end time revelation.
The Secret of Esther’s Power was the character of her submission to the king, because that is what brought her into the marriage covenant with the king. And that marriage union with the king brought her into a position of power because of her being under His headship. That is why when the word of this hour becomes your headship, then there is a great potential power that goes with that.
I CORINTHIANS 11:8-10
8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
When the woman has long hair on her head it symbolises that she is under the headship of her husband. This word “power” means to have power and authority; it means she is under a headship of power that gives her power. Her long hair is showing that she is under headship because of the angels (remember that angels are messengers) with the truth that they have taught her by their message – so Mordechai was the messenger angel that taught Esther that the only way to come into power was by coming into the correct position of headship. That is what the angel of this day has taught us also – and the virgin bride woman of this hour will have power because of her being taught by the angel to be under the headship of the word of this hour.
****We have been raised in a certain way by the teaching of the seventh angel under this Mordechai’s message of this hour - he has told us about the man and his place, and the woman and her place under the headship of the man who is under the headship of Christ so that we can know our position in this hour, and please the king, and come into a marriage union with Christ under the headship of the word of this day. Man wants the woman to be under his headship, but if he won’t have the same spirit of submission toward the headship of Christ, then that is where it all fails.
**From last week we found out that there are only two books in the bible named after woman – Ruth and Esther. Both books are showing us the mystery of the gentile bride at the time when the Jews are going back to their homeland.
**The book of Esther is place between the book of Nehemiah and Job, and the book of Ezra and Nehemiah are the Jews being rushed back from Babylon back to the home land to re-build the temple and wait for the Messiah. So we know that in this day that that was 1948 when the Jews (after the holocaust of WW2) have been rushing back to their homeland to build the temple and wait for the Messiah. And so after Ezra and Nehemiah (1948) comes the book of Esther which is the virgin bride being sort for the king after queen Vashti (the Pentecostal Laodicean church) has been put away in divorce for refusing to come into the presence of the king to receive a further portion of the word (that was sometime around 1962 in our day) – so we have already seen this take place in this age.
**Then directly after the book of Esther comes the book of Job, which of course is the resurrection.
So this book of Esther is placed between the Jews going back to their homeland which is 1948, and the resurrection which is the book of Job which we know in this hour represents the resurrection of the church age sleeping saints at the last trump which is at the rapture.
So if Revelation 9 is WW1 and WW2 (the fifth and sixth trumpet), and Revelation 11 is the two Jewish prophets to Israel which takes place just after the rapture, then we know that Revelation Chapter 10 is the book of Esther in the book of Revelation.
*And so Revelation 10 is when the virgin bride unites in marriage to Christ by eating the book (or the word) for this hour, and by doing so comes under the headship of the word in a marriage covenant, and then the resurrection takes place.
**From the beginning of the bible we know that Eve reflects the Bride, Sarah reflects the Bride, Rebekah reflects the Bride, Rahab reflects the Bride, Abigale reflects the bride, and many more – all these woman in type reflect the bride of this hour, and so Esther also reflects the Bride.
And Esther is the last woman mentioned in the Old Testament, and she is not just a bride, but she is a virgin bride that becomes the queen.
*Esther means a star, and every star has a position ordained to it by God, because every star is set in a certain order of where God has placed it, and a woman has a place set by God where she is just as powerful as the man (up to half the kingdom) as long as she remains in that place under his headship.
HEBREWS 11:6a (Picking back up from last week)
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him:
We know that faith is revelation, and to get revelation you must be able to receive the seed of the spirit of the word of God – and so that is why we know that Esther pleased the king in the way that she received his seed. Vashti displeased the king by failing to go on to receive further seed.

256 Notice, He can put her away, but she cannot put Him away. He did it, has proved it, in the days when Luther, Wesley, and Pentecost, when they refused to become the further part of Him by having spiritual sexual affair to become pregnated with further part of the Word. You understand? She refused. The Lutheran church refused for Christ to have any more desire with her; Luther refused it. And let me say this, going to call me something anyhow; so is it today with every one of them, they fail to take that Word, they refuse Christ!
257 And any woman that refuses a man his child, has no right to be a wife to him. Amen. You remember, in the Bible, when the king married Esther? Because the queen (Vashti) refused, he just got him another one. And when the... What happened when she refused to come out with the king and obey him? The same thing it is with a woman that refuses to be wife to her husband.
258 And so is it with the church that refuses to become pregnated in the age that we now live in, to bring forth children of this age. We are not Lutherans, we're not Wesleys, neither are we Pentecostals! We've got to be the children of this age, through the pregnancy of the Word of God, to bring forth a Child of this age, the Seed Child. Amen. I hope you understand. Couldn't be pregnated, no, so what did He do? Put her away, in divorcement. That's right. But she daresn't put Him away. He put her away.
ESTHER 1:9-20
9 Also Vashti the queen made a feast for the women in the royal house which belonged to king Ahasuerus. (Men and women did not take their meals together in Persia unless in the privacy of domestic life)
10 ¶ On the seventh day (we know that this represents the Laodicean church age which is the seventh age when this Pentecostal church woman Vashti appears on the scene and is invited to come into the very presence of the King which is the revealed word of this hour), when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, and Abagtha, Zethar, and Carcas, the seven chamberlains that served in the presence of Ahasuerus the king,
11 To bring Vashti the queen before the king with the crown royal, to shew the people and the princes her beauty: for she was fair to look on.
12 But the queen Vashti refused to come at the king's commandment by his chamberlains: therefore was the king very wroth, and his anger burned in him.
13 Then the king said to the wise men, which knew the times, (for so was the king's manner toward all that knew law and judgment:
14 And the next unto him was Carshena, Shethar, Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena, and Memucan, the seven princes of Persia and Media, which saw the king's face, and which sat the first in the kingdom;)
15 What shall we do unto the queen Vashti according to law, because she hath not performed the commandment of the king Ahasuerus by the chamberlains?
16 And Memucan answered before the king and the princes, Vashti the queen hath not done wrong to the king only, but also to all the princes, and to all the people that are in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus.
17 For this deed of the queen shall come abroad unto all women, so that they shall despise their husbands in their eyes, when it shall be reported, The king Ahasuerus commanded Vashti the queen to be brought in before him, but she came not.
18 Likewise shall the ladies of Persia and Media say this day unto all the king's princes, which have heard of the deed of the queen. Thus shall there arise too much contempt and wrath.
(Memucan knew that this example of Vashti would be a great influence to the woman of the entire nation, and that it would weaken the respect of wives towards their husbands, and by doing so it would cause the wife to be moved out of her position from under the headship of her husband and therefore weaken the family structure, and this would in turn weaken the entire nation so that a stronger nation would eventually overpower them – this Memucan was a very wise man. The men of that time saw this.
***But look at the nations of the world today of how the weak men of this generation have allowed the family home to become dominated by the female. The head of our nation at this time is a woman whose husband stays at home and looks after the baby.
Look at how weak and domestically frail all the nations of the world have become because of this – the woman wants power, but because she has rejected the teaching of the angel messenger of this age to come under headship, she has completely forfeited the very power she is seeking – she has rejected the 7th angel and has cut off her hair, and now she has no power of her headship because she is out from under her headship and so like Vashti she has lost her position and all of her power.)
19 If it please the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.
20 And when the king's decree which he shall make shall be published throughout all his empire, (for it is great,) all the wives shall give to their husbands honour, both to great and small.
These were men that took action against this threat of letting the woman get out of their God given position.

275 May you men that's got your wives, and let them be the boss of the house and lead you around, may the God of Heaven give you grace to set your foot down and bring that woman back to her right mind again, yeah, and realize that that's your place in Christ. Not a boss, now, but you are the head of the house. Remember, she's not even in the original creation. She's only a by-product of you, give by God, to you, to take care of you, to keep your clothes clean and fix your meals, and so forth. She's not your dictator.
276 You American women run around with a gob of paint on your face, and your nose up in the air (it'd rain, it'd drown you), and then think you're some sort of a dictator. You are, to a sissy, but not a real son of God. Right.
277 May God give you men grace, as sons of God, to stop such nonsense as that.
A woman has a tremendous amount of power given to her by God if she remains in her position in her relationship to man who is under the headship of Christ the word. In the beginning she was co-equal with him, and she will be again when the kingdom is restored.
*Esther was promised up to half the kingdom because she was under headship in her relationship to her husband, but Vashti lost all her power and privileges because she refuse her headship and tried to lord it over her husband and have power on her own without headship, and so she lost all her privileges because she got out of her position.
A woman should have enough to worry about with her own God given responsibilities without trying to take on the man’s role as well.
**Notice how that the woman first came out of the man, but now the woman and the man come out of the woman. Isn’t that enough responsibility for the woman to have to worry about – so why does she also want to take on the weight of her husband’s job and responsibility as well? It is because the devil has lied to woman again like he did to the first woman Eve by making her think that she is suppressed if she doesn’t take on the man’s role as the leader and the provider of the home as well as all of her own pressures and responsibilities – she doesn’t realise that both husband and wife is one flesh working together in two bodies with different roles – it’s the same body with one head and not two heads – a marriage is not supposed to be a two headed monster.
*No wonder the stress levels of our so called modern world are at an all-time high. Now both mum and dad have to go to work just to put enough food on the table, and the kids come home from school to an empty home and get up to things they shouldn’t be getting up to, and now we’ve got what we’ve got today.
***There can be a great rest and inner peace for a woman that can cast all her cares upon the man, and that also does something for the man, it gives him a spirit within to get out and fight for the protection and the provision and for the blessing of his wife and family and to cast his care and trust upon his headship which is Christ.
***The power that Vashti threw away, Esther receives all that power and the blessings of the entire kingdom by virtue of the marriage covenant and by the power of the headship of her husband – and with that power of his position as her husband she brings about a resurrection to her people that were already legally dead and buried.
THE.MARRIAGE.OF.THE.LAMB_ PHOENIX.AZ SUNDAY_ 62-0121E
E-70 Esther... This queen (Vashti), she wouldn't listen to it. She wouldn't come, humiliated him. Said, "If--if this first lady of the land sets an example like that, all the rest of the women will do it. So then, when a man calls for his wife, she'll say, 'Go jump in the river.'" See? Boy, he really foretold America, didn't he?
Now, we find out that in doing so... Then there was a man that had some wisdom about him, come up and counseled with the king. He said, "The thing to do is excommunicate her, and send out through the nation, and call in all the virgins that there is, young virgins, and there pick yourself a wife." It pleased the king.
PROVERBS 31:10-12
10 ¶ Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
The Bible says here, "Who can find a virtuous woman. Her husband will have no fear of spoil". So Christ wants a church in this hour that He can give the Third Pull of the spoken word power to - whatever you say, speak it in My Name up to half the kingdom – and He knows that she won't act independently. Whatever she does would be to His Glory.
And so when Ahasuerus said, "Ask any thing Queen Esther, even up to half of the kingdom”, He had watched Esther too closely to put something out like that and give her that sort of power if he thought she would abuse that power – look at the character that he must have observed in her. He did not expect her to say something like "I want the head of John the Baptist," like how Herodias daughter Salome said, because we see that at the time that Herod was not thinking of what kind of woman he was offering that power to. He gave Salome that power because he had become blinded in his mind and had forfeited his common sense on account of her dancing that had “impressed” him. And that is the condition of the whole world today – there is hardly any common sense left in the world – to much sensual dancing by all these music videos has dulled the minds of the people.
MATTHEW 14:3-11
3 For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife.
4 For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.
5 And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.
6 But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.
7 Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.
8 And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger.
9 And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.
10 And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.
11 And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.
Notice – This is at the time of the first forerunner of the word for that day – and they cut his head off showing that in this day they would also cut the headship of the word off because this forerunner of the word of this day also spoke out about the woman’s backslidden condition in this day.
It is a great thing to think that in this hour God is going to honour His end time bride with the power of the spoken word up to half the kingdom. And that power will be used by the bride of Christ for the purpose that is connected to the resurrection of a people in this hour.
**The secret of Esther’s power laid in her submission to the headship of the king.
