The Three Stages of Ruth’s Relationship with Boaz Pt.2
DEUTERONOMY 24:19-21
19 When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.
20 When thou beatest thine olive tree, thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
21 When thou gatherest the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not glean it afterward: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
Not everything that is yours is yours – some of what is yours is for others
The Three Stages of Ruth’s Relationship with Boaz Pt.2
Continued from last week
Both of the books of Ruth and Esther are revealing the events of this hour concerning the end time bride of Christ. These stories were expressed by people living out their lives, but in the stories of their lives we find that there was sealed the great secrets of the events involving and surrounding the bride of Christ for this day.
THE.KINSMAN.REDEEMER_ JEFF.IN V-6 N-8 SUNDAY_ 60-1002
40 ... This Book of Ruth was one of the outstanding books that they accepted. Why? If it's just a love story, why would the writers and ancient sages accept this Book as inspired? Because there's a hidden revelation in It. And in this hidden revelation, you catch the real meaning, and It'll bring you real close to God.
42 Now, many reading the Bible, read it--just stand up and read a page, and read a page. You'll never get It. Because It's in riddles. And Jesus thanked God for making It like that, said, "You've hid It from the eyes of the wise and prudent and will reveal It to babes such as will learn."
From last week we learnt that the story of Ruth is not just a prophecy of this hour, but it’s a road map for our own personal experience of coming into and gleaning in this field of the message of the hour at this harvest time that we are living in today, and then seeing the coming of Boaz whilst in the field, and being introduced to him by the head reaper, and then remaining and serving in that field until the end of the harvest.
Remember, you will only see the coming of Boaz if you are in Boaz’s field, and Boaz is Christ in this hour, and his field is not the Vatican, his field is the revealed word of the hour.
The Three Stages of Ruth’s Relationship with Boaz
1. Field Relationship stage– this is where she meets Boaz for the first time after he had first come to the head reaper.
2. Threshing Floor Relationship stage – Notice- this did not take place in the public view as in the field relationship stage, but this was in a secret place that only the two of them knew about, and we know that this secret meeting took place in the dark from the midnight hour until the early morning light, and this is when Ruth comes into an understanding and revelation of Boaz’s commitment to redeeming her from personally communing with Boaz. Remember - the head reaper is now off the scene, so this is after 1966 – the head reaper is not included in this meeting as he was at the meeting in the field, Ruth is now in communion with Boaz directly, and that is where we all must come to that place with our communion with Christ in this hour.
This Threshing Floor Relationship is a deeper level of relationship then the field relationship. This is a relationship where he reveals to you personally that you are one of his, and that he is determined to bring you to full redemption in this hour, and that he will not rest until you are raptured and taken off the earth.
Stage 3. Garner Relationship (or Millennium Relationship) - Boaz and Ruth are now married as husband and wife and are living back in Elimelech’s restored inheritance - for us, this will be when we are with Christ in the millennium and the new heavens and the new earth.
And so because this story was written for this hour, we can see clearly that in order for us to be taken with Christ in marriage in the Millennium, we must first pass through these first two stages of Field Relationship and Threshing Floor Relationship in order go on to the Garner.
Pick up from last week...
RUTH 1:3-6
3 And Elimelech Naomi's husband died; and she was left, and her two sons. (That represents the First World War – 28 July 1914 to 11 November 1918)
4 And they took them wives of the women of Moab; the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth: and they dwelled there about ten years.
5 And Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; and the woman was left of her two sons and her husband. (Notice – a great reduction of her family members - that represents the Second World War (1 September 1939 – 2 September 1945) because the holocaust caused the death of many Jewish family members, and so there was a great reduction of their population, and it was immediacy after the second world in 1945 that the Jews returned back to Israel, which is Naomi returning to Bethlehem after the death of her family.)
6 ¶ Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had visited his people in giving them bread. (Bread represents Christ the bread of Life, and that is why the message of this hour is Bethlehem, it is the house of God’s bread, it is the spiritual food for this season)
Notice – that it is only after Ruth and Naomi get to Bethlehem in Ruth chapter 2 that we see that Ruth the gentile is introduced to Boaz in the field by the head reaper, just as we have been introduced to Christ in this field of the revealed word of the hour by the head reaper in this age – brother Branham.
Remember - Bethlehem for the Jews is their natural land of Israel. Bethlehem for the end time gentile bride is a spiritual land of the message of the hour – the revealed word of the hour. The Jews have return back to their promised land, while the gentile bride has returned back to the promised word that was promised for this hour.
RUTH 1:6 ¶ Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had visited his people in giving them bread.
Moab is a type of the denominations. So Ruth deciding in chapter 1 is when you and I made a clear cut decision to come out of the denominations back to the promised word as Israel was gathered out of all nations back to the Promised Land.
You cannot have a true word birth outside of Bethlehem. Bethlehem is where the word is being birth by a people - Boaz was born in Bethlehem, Christ was born in Bethlehem, Obed was born in Bethlehem, and we must also be born in Bethlehem – the message of the hour, because the message of the hour is the house of God’s bread, and that is where Ruth became pregnated with the seed of Boaz.
**Stage one of Ruth Relationship with Boaz is when she first meets the head reaper in the field, and then after she meets the head reaper she sees the coming of Boaz – So once you are in the field (the promised word for this hour), then you will naturally come into contact with the head reaper, you will recognise the head reaper and know who he is.
And then after that you must see the coming of Boaz while you are in the field stage because the head reaper will introduce you to him – but you will only know him at this stage as the Lord of the harvest that has shown mercy and grace to you.
***So this story of Ruth reveals what stage you are personally at in your experience according to the prophecy of this hour. It is showing us with pin point accuracy the stages that we are to go through collectively as the body of Christ and also our individual experience in this message from coming into the message all the way to the millennium.
THE.KINSMAN.REDEEMER_ JEFF.IN V-6 N-8 SUNDAY_ 60-1002
116 …Now, I want to show the shadows. The Old Testament explains the New if you'll just read it, for it is a foreshadow of the New.
REVELATION 10:1
1 ¶ And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
REVELATION 10:7
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
**Revelation 10 in the book of Revelation is placed between the second woe and the third woe which is WW2 and WW3, so Revelation 10 is also taking place at the same time period as when the prophecy of the book of Ruth is being fulfilled. So what we will find is that what is written in story form in the book of Ruth is also written in symbol form in the book of Revelation.
RUTH 2:4-5
4 ¶ And, behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem (this is the coming of Boaz which is the coming of Christ in this hour – but to Ruth, for a time, even though she was in Boaz’s field she didn’t know about the coming of Boaz, not until later on when it was revealed to her who it was that had come), and said unto the reapers, The LORD be with you. And they answered him, The LORD bless thee.
5 Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers, Whose damsel is this?
(Notice, his business is only with the head reaper, he is communicating out of respect to the other reapers, but he is coming directly to the head reaper because that is who he has his business with. That is why Christ first came directly to the seventh angel in this age, because he is the head over the reapers at this harvest time)
REVELATION 10:1
1 ¶ And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: (Brother Banham told us that this was Christ, and we know that Christ in the book of Ruth is Boaz. So Christ of Revelation 10:1 is Boaz of the book of Ruth – it’s the same event written in symbol form.)
REVELATION 10:7
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
(Revelation 10:7 we know is the head servant over the reapers of this hour which is brother Branham. So Revelation 10:1 is Christ coming to Revelation 10:7 which is the head reaper William Branham, which is Boaz coming to the head reaper in Ruth Ch.2.
And then Revelation 10:8-11 is the gentile bride gleaning in the message of the hour, which is Ruth gleaning in the field.
And so Revelation chapter 10 is the symbol form of the story of Ruth in chapters 2 and 3.
And notice that all three of them (The head reaper, Boaz, and Ruth) are first all acquainted together in the field.
RUTH 2:8
8 Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? Go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens:
**I am so glad that we have “happened” by the providence and election of God upon the right field in this hour. Remember – there was no hope of redemption for Ruth outside of Boaz field showing us that there is no hope of Redemption outside of Christ and his field in this hour.
THE.BREACH.BETWEEN.THE.SEVEN.CHURCH.AGES.AND.THE.SEVEN.SEALS_ JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ 63-0317E
74-2 {40} Now, you see, I'm just not making that up. That's what... It's THUS SAITH THE LORD. I'll read it to you out of the Book: the sounding of the seventh angel's message, the mystery of God should be finished that's been declared by His holy prophets. That's the prophets who has wrote the Word. At the sounding of the seventh church age, the last church age, all the loose ends that through these church ages have been probed at, will be wound up together. And when the Seals are broke and the mystery is revealed, down comes the Angel, the Messenger, Christ, setting His foot upon the land and upon the sea with a rainbow over His head. Now remember, this seventh angel is on earth at the time of this coming. (Just the head reaper was in the field when Boaz came, and John the Baptist was on the earth at the time of Christ’s first coming, so must William Branham be on earth at the time of Christ second coming or the bible has made a mistake. Remember that Christ’s second coming is not a public coming as was his first coming as a baby in a manger.
**His coming in this hour is a secret coming of the revealing of the son of man which is the restoration of the word – the unrecognised presence of the Lord)
74-3 {42} Just as John was giving his message, the same time that Messiah come in the days... John knew he would see Him, because he was going to introduce Him. And we realize that in the Scriptures over in Malachi 4, there's to be a one like John…
(Who introduced Ruth to Boaz in the field at harvest time? - The head reaper. Who introduced us to Christ the word of this hour at this harvest time? - The head reaper William Branham – All three – Ruth, Boaz, and the head reaper are together on earth in the field at the same time)
RUTH 2:1-23
1 ¶ And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband's, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz. (Jesus Christ was a near kinsman to Adam, and Christ was born in Bethlehem as was Boaz born in Bethlehem. So in the story of Ruth, Elimelech represents Adam who lost his families inheritance, and Boaz represents Christ who was Adam’s near kinsman who paid the price to redeem Adam’s fallen race and restore his lost inheritance which was Eternal life, fellowship with God, and dominion over the earth.
2 And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.
3 And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech.
4 ¶ And, behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem, and said unto the reapers, The LORD be with you. And they answered him, The LORD bless thee.
5 Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers, Whose damsel is this?
6 And the servant that was set over the reapers answered and said, It is the Moabitish damsel that came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab:
7 And she said, I pray you, let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves: so she came, and hath continued even from the morning until now, that she tarried a little in the house.
8 Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? Go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens: (Notice - from this point on you don’t hear about the head reaper again, he’s goes off the scene of the story – it is just Boaz and Ruth, Boaz and Ruth, so this is now after 1966, because the messenger is off the scene now, and Ruth is in direct communion with Boaz from this point on)
9 Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? (Ruth has to interact with the young men now because the young men are the ministries that are subject under the head reapers ministry – these are message preachers who are under obedience to the head reaper – because it is these young men that will sweep this message on to the coming of the Lord) and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn. (Drink from the same water that the 5 fold ministry is drinking from – that is why God has given the 5 fold ministry in this hour, we are to also drink from the water of the word that these true ministries have drawn in this hour – don’t worry about the 5 “false” ministries, Satan will always have his false counterparts to try to throw you off the real)
10 Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger? (That is the attitude you will have when you really have a revelation of Christ in this hour – “Why me Lord – what grace is this, what grace is this”)
11 And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother (denominations), and the land of thy nativity (where you were born in - Baptist land and Methodist land and Catholic land), and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore. (The end time message land is Bethlehem - the house of God’s bread where Joseph (Christ) is giving out spiritual food in a time of spiritual famine)
12 The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.
13 Then she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be not like unto one of thine handmaidens. (She is receiving a revelation of his kindness and grace individually to her – this is showing God’s attitude to us who are under this message in this hour)
14 And Boaz said unto her (look at the discourse going on between Boaz and Ruth, look at who is communing with her in the field, look at the things they are communing about at this level of their relationship), At mealtime come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar (Notice - bread and wine, she is being nourished while working in the field). And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched corn, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left. (He was making sure she had plenty of access to the 1100 tape food storehouse, she knew where to get nourishment so that she wouldn’t go hungry and faint during the field stage of their relationship)
15 And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not:
16 And let fall also some of the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave them, that she may glean them, and rebuke her not. (It is important that we see Boaz’s attitude of kindness to Ruth during this first stage of their relationship because this is showing us the attitude that Christ has toward us under this message at this time as we glean in this end time field)
17 ¶ So she gleaned in the field until even, and beat out that she had gleaned: and it was about an ephah of barley.
18 And she took it up, and went into the city: and her mother in law saw what she had gleaned: and she brought forth, and gave to her that she had reserved after she was sufficed.
19 And her mother in law said unto her, Where hast thou gleaned to day? and where wroughtest thou? blessed be he that did take knowledge of thee. And she shewed her mother in law with whom she had wrought, and said, The man's name with whom I wrought to day is Boaz. (**She had met him in the field and she knew his name, she had seen Boaz come to the head reaper, and then she had herself come into communion and blessing with Boaz personally while in the field and he had commanded her not the leave this field for a denominational field.
And so she knew his name, and that he was the Lord of the harvest, but at this stage she didn’t know him yet as a kinsman, because she needed a further revelation of Him as a kinsman redeemer to her)
20 And Naomi said unto her daughter in law, Blessed be he of the LORD, who hath not left off his kindness to the living and to the dead. And Naomi said unto her, The man is near of kin unto us, one of our next kinsmen. (**Naomi represents the Old Testament, so we are learning in this hour from the Old Testament shadows and types that not only are we in Boaz’s field in this hour, but that the Christ of the word that we have come to believe in is also a near kinsman to us, a near relative)
21 And Ruth the Moabitess said, He said unto me also, Thou shalt keep fast by my young men, until they have ended all my harvest (Notice again that the head reaper is off the scene – there is no mention of him anymore – her instruction is to stay with the 5 fold ministry).
22 And Naomi said unto Ruth her daughter in law, It is good, my daughter, that thou go out with his maidens, that they meet thee not in any other field.
23 So she kept fast by the maidens of Boaz to glean unto the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest; and dwelt with her mother in law.
In the entire story of Ruth, there are only three people that Ruth is in communion with throughout the story - Naomi, the Head Reaper, and Boaz.
She is not in communing with Naomi, and the Head Reaper, and Boaz, and Kenneth Copeland, and Pope Francis, and Benny Hinn, and any other denominational ministry that she fancies – that is not the story of Ruth, neither is it the story of the bride of this hour.
Outside of Naomi, the Head Reaper, and Boaz, her only other interactions was with the maidens and the reapers of Boaz’s field only that were under Boaz’s head reaper.
THE.KINSMAN.REDEEMER_ JEFF.IN V-6 N-8 SUNDAY_ 60-1002
116 Now, I want you to notice, Naomi, the old church begin to explain to Ruth all the laws about her religion, like the Old Testament is a shadow of the New. Now, I want you to get this story right here.
Now, I want to show the shadows. The Old Testament explains the New if you'll just read it, for it is a foreshadow of the New.
Stage two is the Threshing floor relationship – this is Ruth coming into rest.
This is where you come into a personal revelation of Boaz’s plan of redemption for you personally, and this is a private encounter between Christ and the individual where you see by revelation God’s plan for you in this hour – you come to know who you are in this hour, and that you have a right to make a claim on this Christ of the revealed word as your kinsman redeemer.
**We must realise that there is another stage of relationship with Boaz beyond the field stage; this message is not just to provide your daily spiritual food so you won’t starve to death. We must begin to realise that we have claiming rights on this one that we have meet in the field of this end time message, and that He is literally our near kinsman in this hour, and we must begin to initiate a claim on him for such.
At the first stage of the field experience, all Ruth knew was that she had a right to glean in Boaz field, just like we know that by God’s grace that we have a right to glean all that is available to us in this spiritual end time message field.
But then as she went along, Ruth began to learn more from Naomi, and after a while she began to realised that she met the qualifications for redemption, and that she was able to make a claim on this one that she had meet in the field according to the Levirate law, then she progressively came into a confidence and an assurance of faith and was willing to obey all that she was taught to her by her Jewish mother in law according to the word of the hour concerning the law of a kinsman redeemer.
Between the Jews going back to their homeland in 1948, and the ushering in of the millennium, these events are being lived out by people in this hour.
***So if we are the gentile bride of Christ for this hour, then this story of Ruth is showing us the stages that we must go through.
As the bride body of Christ collectively, and also individually, we must directly pass though these first two relationship stages of relationship with Christ in this hour if we are to go on with him into the rapture and the millennium.
Stage three of Ruth’s relationship with Boaz is the Garner relationship (the rapture), which is when the harvested grain is gathered safe in Boaz’s storehouse, which is Ruth in Boaz’s house - that is when she is rewarded.
