A Study in “Well Doing” Pt.3

HEBREWS 11:6a

6   But without faith it is impossible to please him: (Faith is a revelation of God and his will)

MATTHEW 7:21-24

21     ¶ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22   Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23   And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

24   Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

A rock is a revelation of the word for your age.

Jesus said that upon the rock of the true revelation of himself of the revealed word in the age that you live in - that would be the foundation of the true church of Christ.

A Study in “Well Doing” Pt.3

MATTHEW 7:21-27

21     ¶ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. (We know that God’s will is to bring His prophesied word to pass that is promised in the season that you are living in – so to do the will of God is to be a part of the fulfilment of that prophecy in some way, and that makes the word become fleshed out in you for your day, the prophecy of the word becoming history in your life, and that makes you apart of the word, and that is why you must become one with the word in that the word for your age is being acted out in your life in some way.

22   Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? (In other words, these people had their ideas of what it was to do the will of God and to please God, and to do well, and they honestly thought that they would be accepted by God for their service and sacrifice, but because they were trying to do God a service outside of his will for the age they lived in, meant that they were not accepted by the Lord regardless of how good all their deeds of what they thought would be acceptable with God)

23   And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Iniquity = transgression of the law - the condition of without law; either because ignorant of it, or because violating it:

We know that ignorance is no court of appeal in this age because of a vindicated prophet that God sent to this end time generation to reveal to the entire world the truth of the word.

371-2   A.RESUME.OF.THE.AGES - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.10

…"Come out of her My people, lest ye be partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not her plagues." You see they are ignorant. But if the rapture should take place at this moment, ignorance would be no court of appeal from the judgment of God for being in the wrong ranks.)

24   Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them (When you do what the word says for your age, then that letter of the word puts on flesh in you and you become the living word made flesh), I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

A Rock is a revelation of the will of God for your day.

25   And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew (Judgement time), and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. (Your house represents you yourself – you live in a house called a body, it is where you dwell, and your foundation is what you have put your faith in in your life)

26   And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

27   And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew (Judgement time age again – notice, two types of people at judgement time), and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

MATTHEW 25:14

14     ¶ For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.

15   And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.

16   Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.

17   And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.

18   But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.

19   After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. (Again we see a time of judgement and reckoning)

20   And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

21   His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

22   He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.

23   His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

We know that the last servant that was given the one talent by his master hid it in the earth and was slothful with what he had been given, and then we know that he was cast into outer darkness which is the Laodicean age, and the Laodicean age which is the Pentecostal age goes into the great tribulation period. So this is the season that we are living in now when these prophecies will and are taking place.

***So the question is - What is it to be a good and faithful servant to Christ in the day that you live in? Every denomination clams to know the answer to this according to their teachings and interpretations of the bible.

- The Jehovah witnesses think to do good and be faithful is to go from door to door and spread the good news about Jehovah and the kingdom that is to come.

- The Catholics think that it’s going to mass every morning and saying “hail Mary” over and over hundreds of times. They think that they will hear those great words “well done thou good and faithful catholic servant”)

- The Baptists think as long as you get them Baptist in water by full immersion in the titles of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost – then that is doing good and God will accept the offering of their fruit just like Cain thought that God should have accepted his offering even though it was contrary to the revelation for that hour – Eve did not eat an apple, it was a blood sin, and that revelation had been made known to Cain by the example of Abel’s offering.

PROVERBS 14:12

12     ¶ There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

***To be a good and faithful servant you must multiply the talent given to you for the age that you live in. There have been many talents given out in this age to all the servants of this age, and those talents are connected to the head servant of this age which God used to bring to us the restoration of the word as He promised for this hour, so our work is to be involved in this same work of using our gift to advance the revelation of this hour in whatever capacity we are call to serve the Lord in.

If we are to serve the Lord by supporting the ministry and helping in the church services and being a part of the body of believers, and being a faithful part of the believing body, then that is being faithful and “well doing” and you will certainly hear those words “well done”

176-6   PERGAMEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.5

"I know thy works." These are the identical words uttered to each of the seven messengers relative to the people of God in each age. As they are spoken to the two vines (true and false) they will bring joy and gladness to the hearts of one group, but they ought to strike terror in the hearts of the other. For though we are saved by grace, apart from works, true salvation will bring forth works, or deeds that will please God.

I John 3:7,

"Little children, let no man deceive you; he that DOETH (worketh) righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous."

If this verse means anything at all, it means that what a man DOES he IS.

James 3:11,

"Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?"

Romans 6:2,

"How shall we that are dead to sin live any longer therein?"

Matthew 12:33-35

"Either make the tree good and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt and his fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by his fruit.

O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things."

Now if a man is born of the Word (Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God which liveth and abideth forever. I Peter 1:23) he will produce the Word. The fruit or works of his life will be a product of the kind of seed or life that is in him. His works, therefore will be Scriptural. Oh, what an indictment this truth is going to be against the Pergamean Age. There stands that Matchless One, and in His hand the sharp sword with the two edges, the Word of God. And that Word will judge us in the last day. In fact the Word is judging even now, for it is the discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. It cuts asunder the carnal from the spiritual. It makes us living epistles read and known of all men to the glory of God.

"I know thy works." If a man fears that he might not please God, then let him fulfill the Word. If a man wonders if he will hear those words, "Well done, good and faithful servant," let him fulfill the Word of God in his life, and assuredly he will hear those words of praise. The Word of truth was the criterion then; it is the criterion now. There isn't another standard; there isn't another plumb line. As the world is going to be judged by one Christ Jesus, even so it is going to be judged by the Word. If a man wants to know how he is making out, let him do as James suggested: "Look into the mirror of God's Word."
