A Teachable Spirit Pt.2
JOHN 14:16-18
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (We know that this is not another person of the Trinity (God is not 3 different people), but this is the same Lord Jesus Christ in another form and office, He is now to come back to us in the form of the Spirit of Truth, because he is the way and the truth and the life)
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive (Notice, they CANNOT receive this spirit of Truth – so if you can receive the spirit of the truth, then you are not considered a part of the world but a part of the word), because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. (How is He in you? – By the revelation of the word for your day)
18 ¶ I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
JOHN 15:26
26 ¶ But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: (Notice again that the comforter is manifested by the spirit of Truth)
JOHN 17:15-17
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world (kosmos = world’s system of order – like governments etc.).
17 ¶ Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. (So the Comforter is the Word that is in you by the revelation for your day – it has always been that way in every church age because he promised that he would never leave us nor forsake us but that he would come to us and that the world would not see Him but that we would see Him, and that he would not only be with us in this form of the spirit of truth, but that truth would also be in us by that same spirit leading us and guiding us into all truth)
A Teachable Spirit Pt.2
One of the mysteries (or at least one of the loose ends that had to be tied up in these last days by the seventh angel’s ministry) was the correct understanding of the true evidence of being spirit filled.
Until the end time message came and the seven seals were opened, every denomination had their own idea of what the evidence of the Holy Ghost looked like in a person – people had all sorts of evidences and manifestations.
But we found out by the message of the hour, in the message “The Anointed Ones at the End Time” that a person can receive the genuine Holy Spirit of God upon their spirit realm, and could speak in tongues, and dance in the spirit and act spiritual, and all of that be the genuine spirit of God, but in their soul (where it really counts) they can still remain an unbeliever of the word – in other words, the spirit of truth is not in their souls by revelation.
**So when the message of this hour brought the real truth of this understanding to us, we then see that all the Baptist and Pentecostals and all the other denominational ideas of the evidence Holy Ghost was all wrong – and even our own previous ideas of it were wrong.

195 Now, that's what we was talking the other day, the evidence of the Holy Ghost. See? The evidence of the Holy Ghost is when you can receive the Word; not some system, but have a clear understand. How do you know the Word is clear, understand It? Watch It vindicate Itself.
196 "Well," you say, "I see this do it, and that." Oh, yes, weeds live the same way. See?
197 But it's got to be the entire Word. To be the Bride, you have to be part of Him. He is the Word. See? And what a part of Him is it? The Word that's promised for this day when He calls His Bride. Be a part of that. You get it? Now, don't--don't lose that now.
The evidence that you are His sheep is that you have the ability to hear and understand the word for your day; you may be able to understand the word for a previous day in this day, but that won’t put you in the bride for this hour.
Evidence has to do with being able to receive the word and believe it for your day, and the only way you can do that is by it being made clear to your understanding by the inner teacher – the indwelling Holy Ghost. If you have the seed of God in you, then the Holy Ghost will lead you to the word for your age, and he will also bring you into a clear understanding of that word.
**So this goes beyond human intelligence, this goes beyond the school room – and that is why you can never understand it just by intellectuals.

218 Is there any here that hasn't received the baptism of the Spirit, yet? Now you say, "Brother Branham, I tell you, I shouted one time." That's very good. "I spoke in tongues once." That's very good, too. But still that ain't what I'm talking about. How can you shout and speak in tongues and deny the Word? The evidence of the Holy Ghost is believing His Word. Always been every age if you can receive the Word.
JOHN 10:26-27
26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
We know that what really opened up our understanding of this was the fact that you cannot change a specie into another specie, you cannot be changed from a pig into a sheep, you have to first be a sheep before you could have an ear within you to hear the voice of God for your age.

… Redeem means to buy back. It restores to the original owner. God, by His death, the shed blood BOUGHT BACK HIS OWN. He bought back the Spoken Word Seed Bride. "My sheep hear My voice (Word) and they follow Me." You always were a sheep. You never were a pig or a dog turned into a sheep. That is impossible for every kind of life produces the same kind and there is no change in specie. As we were in the thoughts of God and then expressed in flesh, there had to come a day when we would hear His voice (the Word), and hearing that voice become aware of our Father calling us, and recognize that we are the sons of God. We heard His voice and we cried out as did the prodigal son, "Save me, Oh, my Father. I am returning to Thee."
A son of God can go a long time before he recognizes that he is a son. In fact a lot of true Christians are like the story of the baby eagle that was hatched out under a hen. You know that the eagle is a type of the true believer.

PROVERBS 16:16
16 ¶ How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
This is not just talking about any kind of knowledge, because we know that it is the fear of the Lord that is the beginning of wisdom, so you could be the most learned man in the education of this world but still have no wisdom.
REVELATION 2:11
11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
In each church age we know that the term “having an ear” is referring to being able to hear what the spirit is teaching for the age that you live in, so those individuals who “have an ear” must also by necessity possess a teachable spirit in the channel of the word promised for the age.
The true believer is born with this ability in them from birth, just like a person in the natural has an aptitude for a certain gifting, they are born with that already in them, and so you are just reflecting what you are on the inside, like the eagle egg story – he was an eagle to begin with, he always had the ability to fly, that law of being able to fly was in him from the beginning.
Opening scripture
JOHN 14:17-18
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 ¶ I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
We know that the unbelieving people of the world cannot receive or understand the things of God for the day that they are living in - you can teach them anything else known in the Kosmos except for the revealed word of the hour.
In fact - Not even people from a previous age are able to fully grasp the word for the next age if they live long enough to hear the teaching of it, and so by that we know that only the elect for this age have a teachable spirit in the channel of this revelation when it comes to being taught the word for this age, and this is the age of the full meat of the word.

87 Listen, brothers. Listen to this. "All tables are full of vomit; there's no clean place. Who shall He teach knowledge? Whom shall He make known--understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the milk and drawn from the breast." Not little babies, Presbyterian babies, Methodist babies, Pentecostal babies, Lutheran babies, Nazarene babies, He wants somebody that's willing to get away from the breast and eat some strong meat.
Denominational church systems feed their people milk out of baby bottles – so you have to come out of that system in order to be able to eat the meat of the full word that has been given to the bride of Christ in this hour – and the problem is with many message believers is that we’ve come out of the denomination, but the spirit of their teaching does not come out of us, and that is what blocks the channel of our understanding for the word of this hour, and that is why we have to die out to our thinking of our past understanding of what we were taught by man.
ISAIAH 28:9-10
9 ¶ Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

62 Now, how many remembers that He promised that it would continue on? And, not long ago, for a vision, He promised about that pull of that line, said, "You can't teach Pentecostal babies supernatural things." And when I made the third pull, He said, "Now don't tell nobody about this. You been trying to explain that other. Don't tell nobody about this. This is the great and final pull." How many remembers that being predicted?
63 See, He never fails. Those things happened, one, two, three, just like they were.
Look at this statement - “This is the great and final pull." – He is talking about the opening of the word in this hour, the revelation of the full truth and understanding of redemption, but sometimes we don’t appreciate it, and that is because we don’t really understand it.

158 If he doesn't, then he'll send you off to his own seminary, to be taught by his own theologians, see, where Satan is the interpreter. "Oh, the days of miracles is passed. That people down there, I got, well, that's a bunch of heretics. They, they're not, see." He'll send you there.
159 Oh, you may say, "Wait a minute, Brother Branham! Just a minute now!" Yeah, let's do wait just a minute, see. You say now, "Don't you no longer supposed to? Aren't we supposed to?" No, sir. No, sir.
160 But Jesus said, "When He the Spirit of Truth is come, see, He will bring these things that I have taught, to your memory, the Word. And He'll also show you things to come." There is the real Spirit-filled Church now, stays with the Word, reflects the Word, God on earth. See? He doesn't need any theologian, 'cause His Word is of no private interpretation. He interprets His Own Word, by vindicating It and proving It, It's the Truth.

233 But now that the Seals are opened, the Spirit of Truth directs us to the Word. That explains why all the mistakes has been down through the ages, because the Seals was not opened, This was not revealed. It's true.
234 Notice, you, you can't make the shadows fail. As I preached to you last night about the shadow across the floor, it's got to come out right. How can there be a shadow of an elephant coming across the floor, and a little bitty, spindly man come out to be the elephant, or the elephant to a little, spindly man?
82-3 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.3
No matter how just and upright a Christian is before the public, and how gracious he is to his fellow man, doing naught but good, let him confess Christ as his Saviour and acknowledge the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in tongues, prophecy, healing and miracles, and he will be condemned. The spirit of this world hates the Spirit of God, and because it can't overcome the Spirit of the Lord it tries to destroy the vessel in whom the Spirit of Truth dwells.
Persecution and trials are a natural, normal part of the Christian life. There is only one thing you can do about them. Commit them all to God, judge not, and leave their outworking and final judgment to Him.

We know that Cain had an unteachable spirit when it came to truth – but yet he was very intelligent in the ways of the world order.
GENESIS 4:6-8
6 ¶ And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. (God was giving him the opportunity of a lifetime by trying to teach him the truth of the acceptable way to approach God – but Cain did not have a teachable spirit when it came to the truth of the word – and that is why we mustn’t waste our time with people who simply can’t hear or receive the word)
8 ¶ And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. (Notice - Cain did not raise up against his enemy, he rose up against his brother, so when a person raises up against his brother that is trying to tell the truth to him about the word, then that is not a good thing)
GENESIS 4:16-17
16 ¶ And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he (Cain) builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
Cain had no problem with being intelligent and going to school and getting a degree in engineering and how to build cities.
To build a city requires a person to have a very high level of intelligence and education, so this is how we know that Cain was a very intellectual man, so he must have had a teachable spirit when it came to the things of this world, he must have been a very good student in university, but when it came to the things of God, he had a very unteachable spirit.
HABAKKUK 2:14
14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
This scripture is certainly talking about this age. Because of the opening of the seven seals the knowledge of the word of the revelation of the hour has gone to every nation, and that is because there are people everywhere that have a spirit within them that is able to be taught by the revelation of the word of this hour.
So the earth is filled with this great end time revelation of the Lord – anyone can go on the internet and read the truth of the message and listen to the 5 fold ministry of the end time message teaching the revelation of this hour, but in reality, there is only a certain group of elected people who have a teachable spirit in them that is tuned in to be able to hear that truth.
MATTHEW 24:26-28
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
Eagle age is when the full light and glory of the Lord shines from east to west, it a global shining, this message has gone globally throughout the entire world – all over the world the spirit of truth is moving into the hearts of a people who have the ability to hear truth, the ones who have a teachable spirit when it comes to the word of this hour.

563-1 {291} I was standing with a--a little baby's shoe when He told me, there, "Make your first pull; and when you do, the fish will run after the lure." Said, "Then watch your second pull" said, "because there'll only be small fish." He said, "Then the third pull will get it."
And all them ministers got around me, said, "Brother Branham, we know you can do it. Hallelujah, Brother Branham." (That's where I always get tied up--with a bunch of preachers. See? I love people; they want you to explain everything, this, that.)
563-3 {293} And I said, "Well, oh, all...?..." I said, "I--I don't know." I said, "I've understand fishing." I--I said, "Now, the first thing you do... Here's the way it's done. You see all the fish around; you got to jerk the lure." (Well, that's exactly the tactics of fishing.) So I said, "Jerk the lure." Now, you see when I jerked the lure the first time, now the fish takes out after it, but they were little ones. That's just like they were catching (that is what the denominations attract and catch). So then I--I said, "Then you'll--you'll set..." and I jerked it out on the bank and I had a fish, but it looked like a skin over the lure; it just--he was so little. And then I was standing there and something said, "I told you not to do that." And I started crying.
All the line was tangled around me like this, and I had--was standing there crying with my head down like that. I said, "God, oh, I... Forgive me. I'm a stupid person. Lord, don't... Forgive me." And I had this line and that, what I had in my hand, was a little baby's shoe, about that long. And I had... That string was about as big around as my finger, about a half inch, like. And the eyelet in this shoe was just about the size of a--littler than one-sixteenth, probably, of an inch of the eyelet. And I was trying to lace this little shoe up with this great big inch cord. And a voice come, said, "You can't teach Pentecostal babies supernatural things." Said, "Now, let them alone."
A Teachable Spirit

So you can see now, that we cannot afford to say what the Bible has not said. When Scripture teaches us that the work of the Holy Spirit, and the manifestation of that Blessed Person is to bring the truth of each age to the true seed of that age, then we know that the Spirit has to be abiding in the person or he cannot receive the truth for that time. Amen. That is exactly correct. And if these ages bring out anything, they surely bring and bear out this truth.
We are such a privileged people to know that we have the ability to hear the word for our day, to have a spirit within us that can understand the revelation of this hour.
