Purpose in Your Heart

DANIEL 1:8

8     ¶ But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

Notice how the book of Danial begins – self defilement by Babylonian food

Purpose in Your Heart

Report of the meetings

– We saw the hand of the Lord working among the people.

If you are not used to the ways of how the Lord works among His people, then you would have mostly missed seeing Him because He deals so quietly and almost unrecognizable, and that is because God is not a showman that makes a big performance like us humans like to do – and that is what we must understand about the Lord.

*The first and second pull was like a “stage show” performance in order to attract people because people naturally love performance shows, but in the third pull phase the show part is kept to the absolute minimum so as not to attract the wrong crowd – so if you want to see God at his work, then you have to know how to recognise Him in his work.

117 …The Thought runs deeper than what It's wrote. See? It's inspiration. The kernel is on the inside of It, you see, what It really is.

So when we read the word of God, it often takes the inspiration of the Holy Ghost to see the real kernel of the truth of what it really is – and that is where the spirit of life is, it is not on the serface, but its deeper down underneath, because we all know that what lies on the inside will eventually manifest itself on the outside, so in our walk with the Lord, we need to focus more on this inside life.

**To purpose something in your heart is a very powerful thing, because your heart is the seat of where everything comes out from - good or bad.

The prophet told us that the soul of man (which can also be interpreted as the heart of man), is the control tower of the human mind, it is the thing that motivates us either for good and for God, or for evil and the rejection of God.

**So when we look into a subject like this, we want to look below the surface of the things that we do on the outside to see what is causing our motivation, because often we try to change the surface when the problem is deeper down in the subconsciousness realm of the human heart.

MATTHEW 12:35

35   A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

This word “heart” = Greek word kardia {kar-dee'-ah} = the centre and seat of spiritual life; the soul or mind, as it is the fountain and seat of the thoughts, passions, desires, appetites, affections, purposes, endeavours; of the understanding, the faculty and seat of the intelligence; of the will and character; of the soul so far as it is affected and stirred in a bad way or good, or of the soul as the seat of the sensibilities, affections, emotions, desires, appetites, passions

MARK 7:18-23

18   And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him; (We are often so carful with the natural food we put into our mouths to ensure our natural heath, but then we will swallow all sorts of garbage that is contrary to the word of God into our hearts and then wonder why we have problems with our mental health – and so Jesus is explaining that here.)

19   Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?

20   And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

21   For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

22   Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

23   All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

Jesus is telling us the real source of where a lot of our problems are generated from. This is why we need to guard our own hearts to keep it from defilement and pollution at our core being, because what we allow into our heart will come out in our lives.

*We remember that king David’s sin with Bathsheba was because he had let his heart become defiled with wrong thoughts, because somewhere along the way he had let a thought take root in his heart about having an affair with another man’s wife – it wasn’t that he didn’t have wives of his own, but he wanted another man’s wife also, and so when opportunity presented itself, what was already in his heart came out in his life, and it didn’t end well for him or for others.

This is why he wrote in PSALM 51:10

10   Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

It wasn’t an outside problem, it was a heart condition problem – he failed to guard his heart from that thought taking root within him.

*You cannot stop a thought coming into your head, but you must shoo those thoughts away and keep your heart from those things by not dwelling on them and letting them become a part of the purpose of your heart – because it is out of your heart that your life will be manifested.

PROVERBS 4:23

23   Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

This word “Keep” means to guard, to watch over,

You must purpose in your heart to do the right things of life according to the plan of God for your life – if you don’t purpose in your heart, then there is no centre core of your convictions.

REMEMBERING.THE.LORD_ JEFF.IN V-13 N-2 SUNDAY_ 62-1209

34   ... There has to be a Creator if there is a creation. And if there is a creation, it was made by a Creator. And any man's work reflects himself. He's a good carpenter, he does good work, he builds. And if he's a good mechanic, he does good work. He... Your work only reflects you. And God's creation reflects God. And God made everything for a purpose. And everything that serves God's purpose, when it dies, it has a resurrection.

…And if a man serves God's purpose, there is a resurrection just as sure as anything.

We have all (no doubt) thought about the purpose of why we have been put here upon this earth at this time of history – Humanity is in Babylon again, it is a time of mass confusion where the main idea is that if it feels good, then do it.

*Many people (even many non-religious people) talk about life in that you should pursue a purpose as opposed to just pursuing materialism. To fulfil ones purpose has become quite a movement among certain groups. Many people thought that when they got to a certain point of materialism that that would bring them happiness and contentment just to find out that when they got there that it did not do that for them, there were just more troubles awaiting over that horizon.

**So we want to find a purpose in life that is bigger than ourselves and of our little short time on earth of just breathing air and accumulation material things only to lose it all when we die.

*It is possible for you to occupy this planet for 70 – 80 years and just breath the air and eat food and walk upon the earth and collect nice stuff, but when you are gone, if nothing in your life was achieved for the eternal purpose of God, then what was the reason of you being here?

**So what we purpose in our hearts will have a big effect on how we live our lives, and so it is important to purpose the right and worthy thing.

**And this is why we have to first find a great purpose, a purpose that God can reveal to us of this hour that is far greater than us just breathing air and eating food, and accumulation stuff, a purpose that we can fulfil and live out what God has called us to be in this day, and that purpose has been made known to us as believers of the message of this hour by the seventh angel’s message.

JOSHUA 24:14-15

14   Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.

15     ¶ And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Look at the purpose that Joshua had made within his heart – and he had to maintain and keep his heart continually guarded from any other purpose.

*Once you find the greatest and worthy purpose, then you have to keep your heart guarded from any other distracting purpose.

**How do we keep our hearts guarded, especially in this day where there are so many distracting purposes fighting us for recognition?

**We know how that in a bee colony, queen bees are feed a different diet to the other bees of the hive.

The only difference in whether a fertilized egg develops into a worker bee versus a queen bee is the food that is fed to it during its development.

If the hive requires a new queen bee, then a fertilized egg will be placed into a larger queen cell either by the current queen or by the worker bees, then the special feeding begins!

An egg which is required to develop into a queen bee is fed a diet of what is known as Royal Jelly, she is fed nothing else. This Royal jelly causes this egg to develop faster, and bigger - with the full reproductive capabilities that only the Queen honey bee has.

The Queen bee will remain on her strict Royal Jelly diet for the rest of her life - living 30-40 times longer than any other honey bee in the hive and capable of laying upwards of 2,000 eggs per day. Clearly, there's something very special about the Royal Jelly diet! And there is also something very special about the message of the hour diet.

*Why has the world become so defiled and filled with all the crazy things that are taking hold in people’s lives. People are going crazy, and it is all to do with their diet of what is being feed into their hearts and into the core of the seat of their affections.

**So much of the problems that comes into people’s lives has to do with their diet of what they feed on spiritually, so the book of Daniel begins with showing us a mystery of this hour of a people of God who are surrounded by a Babylonian influence. It shows us how that we are to purpose in our hearts in this hour to eat the right spiritual food in due season, especially when we are surrounded by all the spectacular dainties and tasty delicacies of the food and the wines of Babylon.

DANIEL 1:5-20

5   And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.

We all will have to stand before the great King one day – what level will your wisdom be at – will you be trying to tell God about the trinity of three persons in the Godhead, you need to be feeding on a much better diet than that.

**Remember that this book of Danial is the Old Testament book of what the book of Revelation is in the New Testament.

*The book of Revelation in the New Testament was written for the bride of this hour to understand, because John represents the bride throughout the book of Revelation, and so Danial also (in type) represents the bride of this hour as a captive in Babylon of this last day that we are living in. We are living in the last Babylon just as Daniel lived in the first Babylon)

6   Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah:

7   Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abednego.

8     ¶ But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: (Food gives strength for service – and wine stimulates) therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

9   Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs. (If you want to do right in this hour – God will make a way for you. If you are a believer of this message, then it is God who has brought you into favour with the prince of the eunuchs which is the seventh angel’s message of this hour – and this angel is able to feed you the right kind of food that will make you 10 times wiser than all the rest of the people of Babylon who are walking in the darkness of lies, fake news, and conspiracy theories that waste their time and energy)

10   And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.

11   Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,

12   Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.

13   Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.

14   So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.

15   And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.

16   Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.

17     ¶ As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

18   Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.

19   And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king.

20   And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.

A person that has been feeding on the revelation of the stored up food of the message of the hour is 10 times better in their knowledge of truth and the purpose of God for this hour than all the rest of the cleverest people in the world of this modern Babylon today.

As we begin a new year together – we want to purpose in our hearts to guard our hearts above all else – it might not taste as dainty as some of the food that this Babylon might have, but it will make us 10 times wiser.

***Feed your heart with the Royal jelly of the revelation of this hour, and it will change your life from the inside out so that you can truly fulfil the purpose of what God wants you to live out for your life.
