The Great Redeemer

Duration:1 hr 18 mins 31 secs

The Great Redeemer

REVELATION 4:10-11

10   The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, (listen to what they say)

11   Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Notice in this scripture here that God is being worshiped from the motivation of Him as being the great creator – but when we get to Revelation 5 and after He has taken the book, then the motivation of worship is changed to a higher level of a greater revelation of God’s character.

REVELATION 5:7-9

7   And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

8   And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

     9   And they sung a new song (new songs are written by the inspiration of new revelation – in each church age, the songs that were written reflected the revelation for that age), saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

In chapter 4, it was a worship of God for being a creator, for thou hast created all things” But just because you are a creator, that may not necessarily make you a worthy person, but after the Lamb took the book in Revelation 5, then they sang a new song because of a greater revelation of the character of God that was revealed to them, thou hast redeemed us”, God was now being worshiped as the great redeemer, and this is a level that angels cannot worship God at. Angels can worship God as a great creator (they have been doing that since the beginning of time from when God created them), but only those who have been redeemed can truly worship God as the great redeemer.

Angels can learn the song of the redeemed, but they cannot sing it from an experience. This is what separates angel worship from human worship.

The Great Redeemer

This word Redeemer in the Old Testament is the word ga'al {gaw-al'} - to redeem, act as kinsman-redeemer, avenge, revenge, ransom, do the part of a kinsman 1a1) to act as kinsman, do the part of next of kin, act as kinsman-redeemer 1a1a) by marrying brother's widow to beget a child for him, to redeem from slavery, to redeem land, to exact vengeance.

*All the different meanings and laws of redemption in the bible are showing us of the character and nature of the one great redeemer Himself - Christ.

All acts of redemption reflect something of the Great Redeemer.

102-4 {238}   Notice, He is not an animal. (Animals are a part of His creation, and so He uses creation to reveal redemption, so creation was made for the purpose to reveal redemption – Redemption was not an afterthought, it was the main thought) He took the Book out of the right hand of Him that set upon the throne. Who was it? The--the Owner, the original Owner that had the Book of Redemption in His right hand, and no Angel, no angelic being, nothing else could take the place. And this bloody Lamb walked out and took the Book out of His hand. What was it? Brother, this is the most sublime thing in the Scripture, a act, that not an Angel, not nothing could do it, and the Lamb come and took it from the right hand of Him that set upon the throne. What is it? Now it belongs to the Lamb. Amen.

(This book of redemption was the title deed to everything that Adam lost)

111-2 {299}   Talk about a jubilee, talk about a time when that Lamb walked forth... See, the Book's even sealed in heaven, the mysteries are. Say, "Is my name there?" I don't know; I hope it is. But if it is, it was put on the Book before the foundation of the world. But the first thing that represented that redemption, come the Lamb that had been slain from the foundation of the world. And He took the Book (Glory.) opened the Book, and tore off the Seals, and sent it down to the earth to His seventh angel to reveal it to His people.

**Brother Branham is saying that this event is the most sublime thing in the Scripture – why? Because the entire purpose and secret of the entire bible of what God had had in his mind from before the foundation of the world was going to be made clear to an end time people through the ministry of a seventh angel’s message.

THE.FIFTH.SEAL_ JEFF.IN FRIDAY_ 63-0322

333-1 {1}   Let us bow our heads now for prayer.

Gracious heavenly Father, the Almighty God, Who brought again Jesus Christ from the dead and has presented Him to us in this last day in the power of the Holy Spirit, we are grateful for these mighty visitations of the--of the immortal God. And now, Father, we are facing another hour, a hour which might change the eternal destination of many people. And to approach this, Lord, we are insufficient, because it is in the Scriptures that the Lamb took the Book and opened the Seals.

O Lamb of God, come forward, we pray. We call on You, Lord, the great Redeemer. Come forth and show us Your plan of redemption that's been hid through the years, breaking this Fifth Seal for us tonight, Father, and revealing what's beneath that Seal for us, that we might go away a better Christians than we are now--might be better fit for the task that lays ahead. We ask it in Jesus' Name. Amen.

*God began to show this great secret of redemption from the first book of the bible that was put to pen (the book of Job), because the great revelation of that entire book that came to the realization of Job was the revelation that God was not just a creator, but the He was also a redeemer. For all of Job’s like, he had known God as a creator, but God wanted Job to know that there was a greater revelation of His great attributes, and so through the sufferings of Job, he also came to know God as the Great Redeemer.

JOB 19:23-26

23     ¶ Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!

24   That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!

25   For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: (To Job, this was the greatest revelation of God)

26   And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

*And so from the beginning of the bible, God would unfold this great revelation of His redemptive attributes all the way down from Genesis to the book of Ruth, and all the way down through the entire bible to the book of Revelation Chapter 5 of when He would take the book and show the full plan of his entire redemptive work of what He had had in the back part of His great mind from the beginning.

29     Now if many of you like to just mark down Scriptures that a minister reads. And I would like for you to, tonight, if you would, to turn to Ephesians.

30   And I was speaking last Sunday on the Ephesians, how that the Book of Joshua was the Ephesians of the Old Testament, and how it was a Book of redemption.

31   And redemption has two different parts: "come out of" and "entering into." First, you have to come out. Some people wants to bring the world in with them; but you got to come out of the world, to enter into Christ. You have to come out of unbelief, to enter into faith. There cannot be one thing in your way. To really have genuine faith, you must absolutely leave everything that's contrary to the Word of God, behind, to enter into faith.

*So the end game for us is to enter into a faith or into the revelation of God’s true nature.

I PETER 1:18-20

     18   Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

19   But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

20   Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

So the mystery of redemption (of what was foreordained before the foundation of the world) was to be unfolding down from age to age and from patriarch to patriarch.

*God would show a part of it in Joseph, a part in Moses, a part in Abraham, a part in David. God would leave out a certain part of it in the book of Ruth with Boaz, and then put another part of it in Jeremiah.

**We know that Boaz is a type of Christ, but Boaz can’t reveal all of Christ by Himself, Boaz is only showing a part of Him, because part is revealed in Boaz, part is revealed in Joseph, part is revealed in Moses, part is revealed in Abraham, part is revealed in David – on and on.

**All the way down through the bible, God was slowly letting out the mystery of Himself as the Great Redeemer.

*But then at the end of this last age, it’s all put together, and the whole Bible becomes clear to a selective group of people, and then we see that it’s been Christ all along, showing Himself from Genesis to Revelation as the Great Redeemer.

**So God took 6000 years of human history to unfold His great plan of redemption, and He unfolds it little by little, but then right at the very end, He opens the seven sealed mysteries to show the entire plan of redemption of what was in His Great mind from before the world began, to show himself of the character that he possessed, of being a Redeemer – this is the revelation that God wants to place in each of our hearts at this time.

HEBREWS 11:5-6

5   By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. (Notice – that before Enoch was translated, God was pleased with the revelation that was in his heart – Enoch built the pyramid with an empty tomb showing the resurrection of Christ, he built the pyramid with seven steps of layers showing seven church ages leading to the king’s chamber, he showed that the capstone that was rejected, it was all revealing Christ of what had been revealed to Enoch – what he built was a revelation of Christ in the language of the Pyramid, it was the bible in the form of that structure called a pyramid, just like with Noah, God gave him the revelation of Christ in the form of the ark, because God has many languages that he can reveal Himself in. There is the language of the stars, and the language of nature and of trees and of the animal kingdom. The great lion in the animal kingdom is a language that reveals Christ, the little lamb is a language that reveals Christ, the Eagle is a language in nature that reveals Christ.)

6   But without faith it is impossible to please him:

To please God requires you to see God of what His true character really is. It is for you to come into the clarity of the understating of what Christ has revealed of himself to the level that He has made known for your age.

*Enoch walked with God into the full revelation of Christ that was being unveiled before Him for the time that he was living in, and he went on to write that revelation in the form of the language of the pyramid. Because if Enoch had written it down with ink and paper, it would not have survived the flood, but he wrote it down in the form of a pyramid, and in that form, it bypassed and withstood the judgment of God.

If that same revelation of Christ is in us, then we will also bypass the judgements of God for this day.
