The Three Stages of Ruth’s Relationship with Boaz Pt.3

LEVITICUS 19:9-10

9   And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest.

10   And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God.

DEUTERONOMY 24:19

19   When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.

Ruth, when she had first come to Bethlehem had come into this level of truth. She knew that this word applied to her because she was a stranger, and so that gave her confidence to enter into the field to glean, and that is what first caused her to meet the head reaper – it was a revelation of a portion of the word. And after meeting the head reaper she was then introduced to Boaz who in this day is the revealed word of the hour – the person himself, Christ.

From revelation to revelation.

The Three Stages of Ruth’s Relationship with Boaz Pt.3

RUTH 1:3-5

3   And Elimelech Naomi's husband died; and she was left, and her two sons.

4   And they took them wives of the women of Moab; the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth: and they dwelled there about ten years.

5   And Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; and the woman was left of her two sons and her husband.

We notice that Ruth (who represents the end time bride of this hour) had an old husband in the old land, and then she gets a new husband in the new land.

And Ruth’s old husband in Moab was named Mahlon, and Mahlon means "sick", but her new husband in the new land of Bethlehem was Boaz meaning "strength is within him”.

So this is showing us that when you were born into this world you were headed for sickness and death, but when your old husband is dead and you enter the new land of the revealed word of the hour under this message and you become married to Christ your new husband, then you changed from death unto life, from sickness to strength.

**And remember that your old husband is your old thinking - your old denominational thinking down in Moab.

RUTH 1:16

16   And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: (Notice that the first thing was that Ruth had to be willing to change her thinking from her old concepts of many gods to the one true God)

**So your old husband is your old thinking - your old denominational religious thinking.

And that is why you cannot possibly be married to Christ if your old husband thinking is still alive, because being married to Christ is being one with His word by revelation which is a clear understanding of the word in your thinking, because oneness with Christ is to agree with every word.

That is why that this is the hour of the “marriage of the Lamb has come” because the true understanding of the word has come back to us in this hour by the channel of a vindicated prophet of God, and that is why there is no marriage outside of Bethlehem because Boaz lives in Bethlehem, and Boaz’s field is in Bethlehem, and Bethlehem is the revealed word of this hour under this message only – there is no other field where you will find redemption in this hour.

***That is why when you come into this message you have to be willing to die out to your old thinking of your denominational ideas, because many that come into the message are still married to their old thinking of denomination, and that is why they get on so well with denominational teaching ministries because their thinking is still in that channel.

The Three Stages of Ruth’s Relationship with Boaz – So before Ruth could have any form of relationship with Boaz, she had to first change her thinking.

**And so each level of greater relationship required a greater level of thinking or REVELATION.

So remember that there was no relationship with Boas down in Moab with her old way of thinking, she had to first die out to that thinking in order to meet with Boaz in the field.

1. The Field Relationship

2. The Threshing Floor Relationship

3. The Garner Relationship

1. The Field Relationship – the field represents the message of the hour.

This is where Ruth first meets the head reaper and then she meets Boaz in the field, so this was a public associated meeting – and just as there were many widows that would pass through Boaz’s field and then go on to glean in someone else’s field, so there has been many in the message of this hour that have come into the message and stayed for a period of 10 years, or 20 years, or even 30 years, and then have left the message and gone on into another field.

*And then some others that come in and stay but never go on to the next stage of the Threshing floor, and they end up foolish virgins because they didn’t go on to have their minds purged by the message of the hour, so then they must be purged in the tribulation period at the end of the harvest – this is the foolish virgins.

THE.SEVENTH.SEAL_ JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ 63-0324E

555-2 {225}   Now, if God's going to purge that's--that virgin that was a good woman, but she just failed to get oil in her lamp, and He's going to purge her through persecution in there, He puts them tribes right in there for the same thing, and purges them during the time of the tribulation period, because it is a purging; it's judgment.

THE.SEVENTH.SEAL_ JEFF.IN MONDAY_ 63-0324E

574-7 {386}   Now, we're into the age of the Eagle, the revelation to be revealed, the whole thing. Now, compare this with Revelations the 10th chapter, verse 1 to 7, and we'll see here in this Revelations--the Revelations here, 10: 1-7, that in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel's message was to finish up all the mysteries of God.

Now, we find out also in this that the Sixth Seal now being opened, it was for a threefold purpose. Now, here was the purposes: The first thing was that the sleeping virgins had to go through the tribulation period for purification. She had to be purged of her sins of unbelief and rejecting the message.

It is not that they reject the head reaper, or that they reject the field, but they fail to go on to the threshing floor stage where the mystery of the word is opened to them by revelation and by a secret encounter with Boaz.

2. The Threshing Floor Relationship

This is where Ruth meets Boaz privately at night at the midnight hour at the threshing floor, and Boaz reveals personally to Ruth about intention to redeem her and his willingness to marry her and take her to live with him in their future home – notice again that this is not a public show encounter as it was in the field meeting with Boaz with everyone else all around.

***So we see that Ruth follows the stages of the wheat from the field to the Threshing floor because the wheat is also representing Ruth.

What is threshing and what is a threshing floor? (Show slides)

Threshing is the process of removing the grain of wheat or barley from the stalk and husk. The threshing was done in different ways depending on how much grain there was and the tools that the farmer had available to him. Essential to threshing was a “threshing floor,” a flat area of hard dirt or rock on which freshly harvested wheat could be piled.

A common way of threshing the wheat was to beat it with a stick to loosen the chaff (the outside husk) but a much more common way of threshing was to pile it on the threshing floor where cows or oxen were driven over it and their feet “threshed” the grain from the stalk.

God wanted to make sure that the animals that did that work were well fed themselves, and so He commanded, “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain” (Deut. 25:4)

In other words, the ox got to benefit from his labour by eating some of the grain he was threshing.

Many farmers also owned a “threshing sled,” which was a piece of equipment that looked a lot like like a wide toboggan, but with pieces of metal or stone set in the bottom so the wheat could be cut off the stalk faster:

ISAIAH 41:15-16

15   Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.

16   Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.

Winnowing

Winnowing was the process that separated the mixed up pile of grain, stalk, and husk so that the edible grain could be sifted and eaten. To winnow the grain, the farmer scooped up the pieces of the crop he had just threshed and threw it all up into the air. The wind blew the light pieces of stalk to the side, while the grain, which was both heavier and roundish, fell almost straight back down. Thus, over time, the threshing floor was covered with three quite distinct piles of material. The kernels of grain fell almost straight down or were not blown far at all. The larger pieces of stalk, or “straw,” had blown a little ways off to the side, and the small pieces of stalk, called the “chaff,” had blown even further away.

The farmer used a “winnowing fork,” or a “winnowing shovel” to throw the threshed grain into the air. The winnowing fork and shovel were used in a similar way as people today move loose hay with a pitchfork or broad shovel. The winnowing fork was usually about the size of a pitchfork, but with flat wooden tines to catch more of the grain.

Then the last stage was usually the sieve that filtered out anything that wasn’t wheat.

So to us this threshing floor stage is when the revelation of the word is being revealed to you personally by Christ himself through the message of the hour, and that is what fans away all the chaff which is the false conceptions of previous ages.

***Christ is revealing himself personally to you by his word like Boaz did with Ruth, and for us, that is the new birth, and this is not a public show but the revelation of the word that keeps unfolding to you on a personal level and causes all the chaff in your thinking to get blown away.

MATTHEW 3:11-12 (John the Baptist)

11   I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

12   Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

3. The Garner Relationship - which is the millennium with Christ and the bride and the 144 thousand Jews after the destructing of the wicked under the sixth seal.

So between public field relationship with Boaz, and Garner relationship with Boaz, there is the Threshing floor relationship. And this is where Boaz secretly communed with Ruth lip to ear, and he opened to her the mystery the choosing of a bride, and of marriage of the Lamb is come, and their Future home, and the invisible union, and all these secrets things he spoke to her about – and that is what is going on in our experience right now under this message. These are the secret things that are being revealed to us – this is being under the cover with Boaz, and it is these mysteries that when opened to you brings you into rest.

Ruth deciding, Ruth serving, Ruth resting.

The threshing floor for the wheat is always associated with a rough experience, because the grain must first be beaten or trampled for the chaff to be separated from the grain. And then it has to be winnowed by allowing the wind to blow the chaff away. And wind in the bible is trouble and war – and this is why as believers God often allows us to experience these things on a personal level in our lives because the dross has to be beaten out of us.

HEBREWS 12:11

11   Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

Wind is war in the bible – and so wind is also war in our own personal lives, but not necessarily war with others, but war with our own thinking – that is the greatest battle ever fought.

REVELATION 7:1

1     ¶ And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

This was the First World War.

THE.SEAL.OF.THE.CHRIST_ LA.CA SATURDAY_ 55-0312

E-51   Oh, looky here now. And he said, "Now, the angels were standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds." What does "winds" mean in the Bible, any you Bible interpreters here? "Winds" means "wars and strife, trouble." When was the world altogether going to war? One time since then, one time the whole world was at war; and that was World War One…

***So this personal meeting with Boaz at the threshing floor was not for everyone that worked in Boaz’s Field, it was only reserved for his wife – his Bride. And so this is the experience that we must come into, this personal relationship with the word and revelation of this hour where Boaz (who represents Christ the word of this hour) is revealing his word to you personally by revelation and that is bringing you into a confidence and a rest.

Finish with this thought

MATTHEW 12:40

40   For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Jesus knew that Jonah in the whale’s belly was a shadow of himself, and that he was the positive of that shadow, and so that is how he knew he would rise after 3 days, because the shadow revealed that.

So this is how Jesus knew about himself and could have confidence, because he knew the types in the Old Testament pertaining personally to him, and so he knew that he would be buried in the earth for three days and three nights, but then (because Jonah rose from his grave, and Jonah was a shadow of Him), the reality must also show that. So he knew for sure that he would also rise again the third day because he was greater than Jonah, because he was the reality of the shadow.

MATTHEW 12:41

41   The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

Jesus Christ was greater than Jonah, because Jonah was only the shadow, but Christ was the reality that cast the shadow, and the reality is always greater than the shadow that foreruns it.

So in this hour, a greater than Ruth is here, because the book of Ruth was the shadow of you and I personally in this hour and also as a collective bride body of Christ, and that is how we can be sure of our outcome because the shadow has to fit perfectly with the reality, and that is why a greater than Ruth is on the scene now.

And a greater than Sarah is on the scene now.

And a greater than Rebeca is on the scene now.

And a greater than Rahab is on the scene now.

And a greater then, Esther, Abigale, Hannah is on the scene right now because all these woman were shadows that portrayed an aspect of the end time bride of this hour just as many of the men and prophet’s and sages of the Old Testament foreshadowed Christ – Joseph and Moses and king David and Isaac and Jonah and many more, they were all shadows of Jesus Christ that came at the end of the Old Testament – and Jesus knew that they were all shadows of himself personally, and that is what gave him confidence, by the revelation of those shadows concerning himself.

***So if there were certain men of the Old Testament that shadowed Christ who was the positive that came at the end of the Old Testament, then there must also be certain woman of the Old Testament that will perfectly foreshadow of the bride of this hour that has come at the end of the New Testament.

Christ knew who he was by the word that was written of Him, and so must the bride of this end time hour know who she is by the word that was written of her, and we must also know that the shadow concerning us cannot fail.

We are the positive of all those shadows and types in the bible, so that is why we can have confidence because all these types reveals our future, and we are walking into that future by faith in the word that has been prophesied of us in this hour. We are these prophecies made flesh in this hour, just as Jesus was all those prophecies concerning him made flesh for his hour.

**And that is why it is so important to see yourself in the word and see the word waving back at you in the mirror of this story of Ruth – then you can be sure that you are that word that has become flesh in this hour – and that brings you into rest.
